New Story Arc. Darak and Solila traverse the northern wasteland. Danger lurks around every corner. The Void Rivals corner of the Energon Universe continues to grow as Proximus is on the hunt!
Void Rivals continues to be my favorite series right now. Even with its place in the Energon Universe, it is a series that can clearly stand on its own with characters that I am invested in following and an artistic team that has been doing some top-notch work. Read Full Review
VOID RIVALS #7 is another strong entry in the series. It delivers an exciting story with high stakes, memorable character moments, and beautiful artwork (with a few minor areas for improvement). While the pacing could have been slightly better in certain spots, its a minor issue in an otherwise outstanding comic. Read Full Review
The hunter Proximus makes his foreboding debut in the story of Void Rivals, setting the tone for an interesting and deadly story arc to come. Read Full Review
The Transformers tie-ins were fun, but it's arguably more satisfying to see the title just play out without the need for a TF cameo to maintain interest. This title doesn't need any help from the big brother robot brand. There's plenty of story and intriguing developments to more than keep readers coming back for the next installment. Read Full Review
Void Rivals #7 picks up the threads from the first arc and delivers on its excellent premise by setting up an intriguing new direction. Read Full Review
The second phase of The Energon Universes pace setter dives heavy into story in its latest chapter. Kirkman keeps readers on their toes with a pivotal character introduction. The art gives a bold welcome of the new player into the story with solid imagery. Where we go from here is anyones guess but you dont want to miss out. Read Full Review
Void Rivals returned with purpose. That purpose was delivering more compelling storytelling with Darak and Solila at the forefront. With Void Rivals #7 Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici created a strong foundation for the new story arc for this series. Which leads to even greater investment in the Energon Universe. It would be very easy to make this comic about the big licensed properties that it's tied to, but Kirkman is focusing on character first and that's why it's a winner. Read Full Review
Void Rivals #7 is an interesting comic in that it will absolutely be better read as part of the current arc than on its own. It gets a few plot points rolling and all it needed to happen. The issue just feels a bit thin overall and a little boring. It's a big stumble as it's the start of a brand new arc. Read Full Review
Not the most eventful issue of Void Rivals. Read Full Review
Void Rivals continues its break with a pang. We get Proximus added to the mix to really start off this new arc with some crazy threat level. Darak and Solila still keeping secrets (so I wonder how that plays out) and the universe is unfolding slowly.
I enjoy everything about this. I dont have much to say except Kirkman writes a sweet story.
The art is wonderful. The shooting starts double spread in the first pages of the book I could stare at for far too long if I had that much free time in my life. I love it.
I love that this book keeps moving though I wish it moved just a bit faster. Not a whole lot happens in this issue and the princess keeps complaining no matter how much Darak sticks his head out for her. We are introduced to a new character that seems very interesting. Good work by Kirkman in creating interesting characters.

Am I missing something? I genuinely really want to enjoy this, but I can't seem to grasp the excitement that everyone else has for this.
