Every issue to date has been a terrific showcase for Samnee's artistic talents and the finely honed collaboration between he and Mark Waid. Issue #5 is no exception. Read Full Review
The artwork accompanies the story incredibly. The scenes and character movements are unique and gritty, they really do stand out from other comics – especially those from Marvel. Natasha's condition changes thoroughly along the story, and the comparison from beginning to end is astonishing. She's struggling, and the art represents this just as well as the script does. Samnee's art work is such a blessing upon this series, as well. We gotta talk about that shit, man. This dude has a unique way of setting the scenes and character movement. Natasha never seems to be in the same condition at the beginning of the issue when compared the end. Samnee's last page with Natasha this issue again serves as a great visualization of the new found pressure being applied to Natasha and how she is struggling to make do. Read Full Review
Chris Samnee and Mark Waid clearly know how to write a spy story, but I feel like I probably need to read the rest of the series to know exactly what's going on. I am interested to see where this leads with the character that pops up at the end. If you've been reading and enjoying this series, definitely pick this up. If not, maybe wait until next month and jump on then. Read Full Review
Wow. The parking lot fight scene was absolutely amazing. Samnee’s art really tied it all together and I loved Agent Elder throughout the series and I’m glad he went out with a literal bang. Looks like trouble is in store next issue now that Tony is hunting her after Weeping Lion released her secrets
Feels like a 60's Bond movie, which stars Black Widow.
'Who am I, Hawkeye?' This is so good!
