As I finished my reading of Captain Marvel #10 I found myself even more eager than usual for next month's issue. This entire storyline has been wonderful and this issue further adds to that greatness with its character moments and a finale that sets up a magnificent finish. If you love stories where the struggles faced by the hero is as much without as within you need to be reading Captain Marvel. Read Full Review
Carmen Carneros art is fantastic. She is able to bring out the characters emotions through the art with some great facial expressions and dramatic panels. I really loved the fight towards the end of the issue because it conveyed power, energy and tension. A great looking issue. Read Full Review

Overall, Captain Marvel #10 is a solid continuation of a powerful arc, despite being burdened by one too many moving pieces. Read Full Review

“Falling Stars” has been a rollercoaster for many fans, and the tale isn't over yet. We know that there's going to be at least one more issue in this plot, before diving into the one that so many people online have been talking about. (Hint: it involves one of the symbiotes). Read Full Review
Captain Marvel #10 glories in a comprehensive explanation of the story so far before moving on to Carol's appropriate reaction: Punching the ever-loving out of what she's now certain is the right antagonist. The plot jigsaws together perfectly, and the portrait of Carol painted in words and art is impressively moving. The sky-high stakes couldn't be clearer, and we're utterly invested in finding out how this fight ends. Read Full Review
It doesnt work because Star has already infected the whole city with the kree virus and is now feeding off of everyone. (insert maniac laughter here) Also as Carol lays crippled on the ground Star whispers her secret identity or at least enough clues for Carol to whisper it… Read Full Review
I really enjoyed this issue.
Ripley Ryan as Star was SUPER obvious, I would have been more surprised if she wasn't Star. And her backstory isn't terrible, she gets kidnapped by Nuclear Man in the first issue and goes of the deep-end realizing how breakable her average human body is and wants superpowers to feel safe. She makes a deal with a mad scientist to get those powers.
But now shes gone full psycho and is hurting innocent people because POOOOWWWEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!
And I like how there's an air of mystery as to weather she was always this psycho, went psycho because Nuclear Man kidnapped her, went psycho from Minerva's experimentation or went psycho from obtaining Carol's Powers. Maybe a mix of all four? more
Still liking it.
This was a good issue. This run has done a lot to make Carol more likeable and I feel like this issue has a lot of pay off in that regard.
It's good but not great for me. I'm left scratching my head at the shortcomings of Minerva's plans (she's running two nigh-contradictory schemes against Carol at the same time) instead of admiring the quality of the storytelling.
