You Don't Read Comics - Kellie Keener Mar 18, 2020

This story wraps up the Last Avenger arc in a way that is satisfying and completes the story without rushing the ending. And while things with Vox Supreme might be wrapped up for now, with Star still on the loose (see Star issues 1 and 2), theres sure to be plenty of adventures for Captain Marvel moving forward.  Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Johnny "The Machine" Hughes Mar 23, 2020

Having a soft spot for Carol Danvers since the 70's, I ma pleased to have enjoyed this story line. There is no massive motive, no change a characters origins and no suddenly worthy element that effectively reduces the need for any of the other heroes. It has been plainly put, a fun read! Marvel have been doing a great job, for the most part, with their female led books. Hopefully Thompson and company can keep this momentum going. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke Mar 17, 2020

Once again, this series proves Thompson has a knack for humanizing a character while also lifting them up to be the best version of themselves. This is an empowering series as you'll find yourself relating to Carol and rooting for her. There is a relatability you don't get from other comics and that makes it truly special. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez Mar 21, 2020

"The Last Avenger" had all the makings of a strong story. Unfortunately this storyline ends with a final chapter that makes the entire story come across as forgettable. The only saving grace for Captain Marvel #16 was the solid job Kelly Thompson continues to do with how she uses Carol Danvers relationships with the Avengers in this series. Sadly, that is not enough to help make the final battle between Captain Marvel and Vox Supreme any less disappointing. Read Full Review
