Ferry delivers some atmospheric visual horror throughout the issue. I love the use of shadows throughout the issue and how every moment had weight visually to the emotional tone of the story. Read Full Review

Scribe Jed MacKay brings a very heady concept to what amounts to a crossover tie-in book, digging deep into both Marvel lore and a huge out of the box idea that feel like they're hitting above their weight class. Read Full Review
Doctor Strange #16 is a perfectly decent tie-in issue to the Blood Hunt event, except for one glaring problem. The art is solid, and the entertainment factor is high enough to keep readers engaged, but the entire issue revolves around a plot point that doesn't make sense. Read Full Review
Plot
This comic serves as support for the Blood Hunt event, where Doctor Strange is attacked by surprise by Blade, the new leader of the vampire cult Structure, responsible for the sky being covered by a cloud from the dark dimension and in an eternal night the Vampires They attack without mercy.
Victor Strange is Blade's ally and takes the opportunity to take Doctor Strange's body. Wong tries to stop him but if he uses a stake he will destroy Stephen Strange's body, Wong escapes, but unexpected support is about to arrive from Baron Mordo.
Interesting installment that raises the level of tension, mysteries, terror and excitement of the Blood Hunt event and continues to enhance the story of the supreme sorcerer! more
This started off a little slow for me, but it definitely picked up as it continued. I enjoyed the fight between Victor and Wong, along with their dialogue throughout. Ferry's art was pretty good here as well, and I think this may have been the most I've liked it in the series, or just in a while, at least.
