But Why Tho? - William Tucker May 8, 2024

Doctor Strange #15 is a show of intent. MacKay does not hold back in the early part of the comic. It highlights the damage the writers are willing to do to some of the most integral superheroes within the Marvel Universe. Read Full Review

Ferry delivers some dramatic art throughout the issue. I really enjoyed the visual style, especially during the action scenes. The visual representation of magic looks amazing. Read Full Review

Major Spoilers - Matthew Peterson May 10, 2024

Ferry's gorgeous art makes the issue truly lovely to look at, even as it covers about ten minutes worth of time. The hints and implications of what's coming are also well-done. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - mrgabehernandez May 8, 2024

Doctor Strange #15 properly continues the Blood Hunt event by taking Doctor Strange off the field (but not really) to make the heroes' challenge even more impossible to overcome. The clues surrounding Blade's sudden turn are intriguing, and MacKay's pace holds your attention, so if you want a Blood Hunt tie-in that matters, this is a good pick. Read Full Review

Cynically we have been trained by comic book crossover events to seek out every tie-in no matter the direct connection, luckily for readers, Doctor Strange #15 is a worthy addendum to Blood Hunt #1 that arrived last week. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Michael Guerrero May 9, 2024

In the first tie-in to Blood Hunt, Stephen Strange and Clea are faced with an impossible challenge in what to do without Doctor Strange. Thus, this issue is rather engaging through its pacing and action sequences. Read Full Review

The Comic Book Spot - Theodis Wright May 9, 2024

Doctor Strange #15 is an example of the art killing the vibe. This is particularly true after the release of Blood Hunt #1, which I feel was the complete opposite, where the art saved the story. I hope that as the Blood Hunt event continues that there is better consistency with the art. Read Full Review

    Plot
This comic serves as support for the Blood Hunt event, where Doctor Strange is attacked by surprise by Blade, the new leader of the vampire cult Structure, responsible for the sky being covered by a cloud from the dark dimension and in an eternal night the Vampires They attack without mercy.

Blade mortally wounds Stephen and then bites him, turning him into a vampire at his command. Clea fights Blade with all her charms, but Blade has a sword capable of breaking spells, but Clea is a warrior and Blade escapes.

Clea had to separate Stephen's mind from her body to control anger, Doctor Strange's body has no mind and is controlled by Blade, at this time the Cytorak Gangs have him contained.

Am I the only person that doesn’t give a rats ass about blood hunt and doesn’t like it interrupting all these books. Story isn’t terrible, but why is Blade the bad guy? I see some people don’t like the art. Thats my favorite part of the book.

I thought the story was good, but the art kinda killed it for me. I only picked up this issue because of the Blood Hunt tie in, so it was cool to see the immediate followup to BH1 and it was an interesting story in its own right, but the art was just out of place and out of tone. It wasn't ugly or anything, it was competent. I just think it belongs in a book like Strange Academy or Power Pack or something.
