Well, next issue, the Thing is supposed to turn on Reed and try to murder him, and were still not seeing the motive for this shocking action. Additionally, the Invisible Woman is not in this issue at all, or if she is, shes so undercover and thoroughly cloaked that we cant know it. This is one of those times when the Fantastic Four are divided by dire circumstances, and that never leads to anything goodbut Im waiting to see if there might be some trick to what were allegedly going to see in FF #42. Fantastic Four #41 continues the Reckoning War as the Fantastic Four face threats on two fronts. The most engaging part of the comic is with Mr. Fantastic's team facing off against the two warriors of the Reckoning, Rapture and her brother. They're not great villains, but they're distinctive and serviceable for the story, and it's where readers will get the most action and entertainment. Sadly, the portion dealing with the Human Torch and Annihilus is pretty underwhelming by comparison. Read Full Review

The reckoning war continues to be awesome. I love the many layers and the emotional weight of this story. Both the writing and art are fantastic
I am actually enjoying so far.
Battlefield dispatches keep us up-to-date with the Reckoning War. I'm interested in the way the plot's developing even if I don't really buy into the risk to the characters. Surprisingly, the thread I enjoyed the most -- Johnny Storm's -- was the one I thought I'd like the least.
The writing is very Silver Age-y, in ways both positive and negative. (So much exposition!) The art still hits me as talented, but challenging; Rachael Stott makes lots of bold choices for better or worse.
Honestly, despite only being moderately good, you can tell that Slott is really giving this one his all, and really spent time building up to this. I'm having fun reading Fantastic Four. It's not the best comic out there, but it is quality and enjoyable.
It started off pretty decent, but then just kind of went down as the story went on. Except for the torch parts.
its whatever to be honest. So far its not engaging.
