Meet the Skrulls #3 is one of the most visceral, pulse-pounding issues to come out of Marvel in quite a while, and makes a good break from big crossovers and their incessant tie-ins. Do not sleep on this sleeper hit. Read Full Review

Final ThoughtsSo we finally get the result of the battle of last week's cliffhanger, something that I have been looking forward to since issue one, and the result was a bit disappointed that we don't see any of the battle. This plays my emotional chords like a fiddle.
Meet the Skrulls is definitely worth a read. Robbie Thompson engulfs the reader into the world of the Warners so perfectly and the art matches the undercover alien spy tone.
Still really into this. It's an odd story, but I like it.
I appear to be in the minority who have read this far with our heart-strings still stubbornly un-plucked. I see where and how the creators are trying, and I like the mechanics of the spy-plot, but these characters have failed to connect with me.
@Raist819 bullseyed this series back on #1: It's "The Americans" with Skrulls instead of Soviets. And just like the TV show, the comic stretches the tension between "these are sympathetic characters who have to do monstrous things" and "these are monsters with occasional moments of sympathy" too far for my taste.
A quick read, an acceptable read.
