The ending while ultimately satisfying leads me to believe we might get more Old Man Hawkeye adventures in the future. Though his mission is complete it sounds like he has more fight left in him. I hope we get to see more. Here's looking forward to the new and improved (But still old) Clint of the future. Until next time Hakweye" Read Full Review
Old Man Hawkeye blends seamlessly into the beginning of Old Man Logan, even providing some grim foreshadowing of Hawkeye's eventual fate. The writing is extremely faithful to the preceding story and it was enjoyable to add this to the growing lore ofEarth-807128. I'm not as big a fan of the art style in this book. It feels rough, messy and chaotic; lacking the crisp, beautiful lines of Old Man Logan or other books I'm a fan of. However, the color palette matches the one from Old Man Logan and continues to evoke the same emotions. All in all, this is a very fine book that I intend to add to my collection as a precursor work to one of my favorite Wolverine stories of all time. Read Full Review
Sacks found a way to bridge the gap between the real Marvel Universe and the world of Old Man Logan while also distilling what makes Hawkeye so great and frustrating. Read Full Review
A well-executed conclusion that overcomes its inherent limitations as a prequel to deliver an exciting yet somber finish. Read Full Review
Old Man Hawkeye #12 sees Hawkeye's journey of vengeance come to an end. The art is good with clean action, with a couple of minor gripes. The story is good, but a little bogged down with references to the Old Man Logan series. Read Full Review
Clint navigates his blind butt to survival thanks to considerable Kate Bishop assistance. I found the tone of the last couple of pages off-putting, but the "post credits" page is insanely great. Before that, we have the pleasure of seeing a pure action-movie climax moment come together in a way that relies - solely and successfully - on visual storytelling.
This was a really good conclusion to this story. I'm excited for Old Man Quill. Ethan Sacks has proven to be good at writing comics. His transition to comics was much smoother than a lot of writers that Marvel have recently tried to pull from other forms of media.
This was great! But needed more Old Man Bullseye tbh.
The series was great. This issue didn’t completely stick the landing, but still good.
