"THE BEST DEFENSE" PART THREE!
• In a desolate, barren landscape, the Master of the Mystic Arts fights what may well prove to be his final battle-alone, unaided, friendless...

An incredibly well-drawn issue that reveals the best defense might be our last. Duggan and Smallwood make magic with this issue and will make everyone who reads this want, nay, need to read the Defenders series once it's out. Read Full Review
Not having read the other The Best Defense titles I am not exactly sure how this fits in. But you can pick up The Best Defense: Doctor Strange #1 (part 3) and enjoy the story without having any previous knowledge of the other titles or what is happening in the ongoing Doctor Strange series. That is a great credit to Gerry Duggan; he tells a complete story while setting up the new The Defenders series. The art from Greg Smallwood is more than worth the price of admission. As always, he delivers some superb visuals that are stunning to look at. Read Full Review
It's a wonderful exploration of the character that only adds to his current (wonderful) canon. Plus, it has me genuinely interested in the new Defenders series. So, mission accomplished. Read Full Review

Perfection !
I wish this duo could be on a monthly Doctor Strange ongoing!
Man, this issue was awesome. The writing and the art were incredible. And I think this is the most integral issue yet in the overarching story of The Best Defense.
Great story, but the moody and atmospheric art really sells it!
Great job everyone. I hope this duo can do another book together. Well done!
Old Man Strange faces down Dormammu in a generic future wasteland. This one builds constructively on the Immortal Hulk issue, answering some questions and posing new ones in a magnificent way. High-powered art adds to the feeling that I'm reading something special here.
I thought this was really cool! I like how he had a Hulk head in a bag.
Duggan finally wrote something exceptional. I haven't read the other Best Defense issues, and I doubt that I will, but I was able to enjoy this issue on its own merits and don't feel compelled to read the others.
This "Old Man Strange" one-shot is a masterpiece visually, but the story could be better, I think. However, this really feels important for the event and the mystery starts to unravel.
Nice.
Easy to read but art was eh ok. Enjoyed how it tied in the other issues except for Namor.
