Whichever one you like better, however, I think it's safe to officially declare that Marvel's best event series are being spun out of the Spider-Man office. Read Full Review
This was a very strong epilogue for The Clone Conspiracy, and in some ways, it was even better than the event that preceded it. Read Full Review
The Clone Conspiracy: Omega does exactly what it needed to do by giving Spider-Man's latest event some closure while simultaneously building future stories. Though this issue failed to build interest for the Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider ongoing Dan Slott delivered on where it counted by selling us on more Peter Parker Spider-Man stories. The fact that Peter Parker has to now deal with whatever Norman Osborn is plotting on top of the damage Parker Industry's suffered from The Clone Conspiracy events makes the future for Amazing Spider-Man very exciting. Clone Conspiracy Omega #1 is an issue that, new and long-timeSpider-Man readers alike, will find aspects to enjoy. There's a decent story toread through and take in here albeit with some flaws. Overall, The Clone Conspiracy Omega doesn't redeem the underwhelming ending of this Spider-Man event. Read Full Review
Clone Conspiracy: Omega further wraps up the events of the past six months but doesn't come across as being anything particularly illuminating or even necessary to the larger narrative. But hey, what's another $4.99 between friends? Read Full Review

A really nice wrap up for Clone Cospiracy. Really loved part with Rhino. Also idea for New Miniseries The Lizards.
I was pleasantly surprised by this issue. The first story continued to tread familiar ground to a certain extent, but also filled out this story's conclusion with a bit more depth, showing the emotional ramifications for Spidey and Rhino. And I must admit to not being familiar with Cory Smith's work, but holy cow, he needs to be drawing Spider-Man more. His work is great. The second story was more of a rehash, but served to remind me never to buy the Scarlet Spider title. Done. And the last story was a nice prelude to what is coming in "Amazing," giving a sample of the cool Stuart Immonen take on Spider-Man. Overall, good stuff, with outstanding art.
Meh. I don't think I got the point of this event. Definitely not the best writing I've seen from Slott. And did any of it matter?
It's a welcome deck-clearing in the aftermath of the big event. Some supporting characters are checked up on, the Kingpin makes it clear that PI is headed down the tubes before pointing Peter Parker toward Norman Osborn (what, again?), and Ben Reilly gets launched into his own anti-heroic series. Heavy-hitting art from Cory T. Smith, Mark Bagley, and Stuart Immonen help make this an enjoyable read. Ultimately, this band-aid isn't enough to redeem the seriously flawed Clone Conspiracy, but it is a nice look ahead at what's next for the spider-books.
The whole event has just felt "off" and awkward.
Better than the final issues of this typical marvel event. But this issue is unnecessary 4.99 cash grab. We see the aftermath of the New U clones and the families affected. But even the emotional toll on the families is wrapped up in the quickest way possible cheesiest way possible. Back ups were ok just setting up Ben's title and the next spidey arc but nothing super intriguing. Just happy this event is finally over!
