Venom #24 continues Eddie Brock's side of things as he travels to Latveria of all places to see Doctor Doom himself. The story gives a good reason behind this encounter and sets things up for a new fun story arc for Eddie and Doom. And that's the thing, this is a genuinely fun comic thanks to Al Ewing's pacing and solid characterization of Eddie, Bedlam, and Dr. Doom, which goes in hand with Sergio Dvila's art to make this a dynamic comic book to read. Venom and Marvel fans will enjoy this comic book on its own and as part of this Venom run, and they will definitely want more by the end of the issue. Read Full Review

Through its lengthy action, Venom #24 does a stellar job of establishing how much Eddie Brock and Doctor Doom dislike each other, which is bound to leave readers excited to find out how the rest of their time-travel adventure will play out. Read Full Review
As soon as Al Ewing's schedule slows down, I'd be happy to see him write a Dr. Doom solo for about a zillion issues.
Eddie takes a logical next step in his story, and the simple plot progression is elevated to greatness by this script's witty, intelligent portrayal of Doom. He and Eddie relate in ways that are amusing, enlightening, and intriguing.
Sergio Dávila raises the reading experience even higher with a scrupulously polished artistic performance. The action remains clear and easy to parse even as it dances through panels jam-packed with realistic detail and perfectly rendered characters.
Snarky aside re the G.O.D.S. page: I've forgotten these dudes' names by now. I'll just call them Store-Brand Dr. S more
A really fun issue here that I'm partially giving a 9/10 because of how well I think Ewing writes Doom. Davila's art is pretty good for the most part, but I can't stress enough how greatly I think Doom was handled here. That line about the easy-bake oven was seriously fantastic and I'm really looking forward to more of Doom and Eddie in the next issue. Great stuff all around with this one.
I like how Ewing writes Doom.
This was a pretty solid issue of Venom. It still had some stale dialogue from Eddie, but I enjoyed the premise and a lot of the visuals.
I've been loving this volume of venom but lately it's been hit and miss. This was a miss for me unfortunately. I'm a huge fan of black widow and what's on the way with her is probably the only reason this is still on my pull list. As usual with books I don't really care for I'm glad others enjoyed it even though I didn't really and bring on black widow
