A face from the past returns at a pivotal time in RJ's deprogramming. But is his return too good to be true? Or is Bucky just being paranoid? What lengths is he willing to go to keep RJ safe? An issue filled with shocking choices.
Rated T+
I cannot say how much I love this book. Writer Kyle Higgins gives Bucky a purpose, gives him a mission with heart. Bucky is just looking after this kid. Feels for him, but it never works out. Rod Reis on art, it's outstanding. It shows the perfect expressions. Higgins and Reis team is one for the ages. Read Full Review

It's a great book almost like an mini indie book set in the same universe. Great take with some things done before but it doesn't take away from the great story. Rod Reis is as awesome as ever. Fun!!
Another stellar entry in this very underrated mini-series. As Marvel seems to be hitting it out of the park with its minis as of late, this is the best one coming right now, and the only disappointing thing about it is that there's only one issue left.
There can be only one dad.
Things slow down a bit too much for me, but this was still really good.
RJ's dad proves to be a real sad sack. Bucky goes above and beyond to try and help the guy for RJ's sake, but the story spirals inevitably to a bad end. The plot detours so thoroughly into "Goodfellas" territory that it puts a ceiling on how highly I'll rate this issue. Superb storytelling work - beautiful art and compelling writing - pull it right up to that ceiling. It might not be great but it is very, very good.
A strong character piece of RJ's dad but nothing spectacular. Well, except for the apparent finality of the final slip.
Oh "SNAP!"
Four issues in. The dialogue is great, the art is good (you get used to it) and the story just keeps getting more and more interesting. After this development, I just can't wait for the next issue.
edit: And just now I learn it's a miniseries. Well, better late than never.
