X-Men: Red #18 is a fond farewell to one of our favorite X-Men books in the last couple of years. It's packed with action and heart, capping off this Arakki epic while still leaving so much room to explore on the red planet. Hopefully, their rest is restorative but also quick because Storm and her fellow Arakki are some of the biggest assets to the fight for mutant kind as the Fall of X shifts to Fall of the House of X/Rise of the Powers of X. The people of Arakko do not fear a life that ends, and there is no fear in how this book ends either: only hope. Read Full Review
The final issue of X-Men: Red hews closely to the series' ambitious spirit and grand scale, a concept that maintained its quality amidst too many crossovers and tie-ins to ever solidify its own concept as a series. Read Full Review

X-Men: Red #18 is a strong end to what has been Marvel's best comic book series since Al Ewing started this series. Along with artist Yildiray Cinar, Ewing delivered on the epic scale the end of the war for the future Planet Arakko needed to have. If you did not read X-Men: Red during its run make sure to pick up the collections as this series as soon as possible. Read Full Review

A great way to close out this series. This just missed the 10/10 mark, but it was still amazing. Ewing continues to write Storm fantastically, and I really enjoyed the confrontation and fight between her and Genesis. Speaking of the latter, the ending of this was really intriguing. I knew the whole story wouldn't get wrapped up, considering comics never stop and especially considering that Ewing will be doing Resurrection of Magneto starting next month. Though, that considered, I thought this was a fitting conclusion to this outstanding run.
A phenomenal ending to what was a phenomenal series. This has been such an amazing time to be a X-Men fan! A true pleasure to read these amazing stories! I can't wait to see what awaits my beloved mutants
Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Al Ewing wrote a climactic final chapter to the Genesis War that's equal parts action-packed spectacle and emotional gut-punch, leaving readers both satisfied and slightly melancholic as the best series throughout Fall of X has come to a close.
While the physical conflict is exhilarating, thanks to Yildiray Çinar’s always impressive art, Ewing ensures it's not just about flashy powers or brute strength. The battle becomes a metaphor for the clash of ideologies, forcing characters to confront their beliefs, the choices they've made, and the paths they hope to lead. Storm's unwavering optimism clashes with Genesis' hardened hubris, leading to a poignant confrontation that resonate beyo more
Al Ewing delivers a fitting end to this fine book. I enjoyed this series a lot when the X-Men were dragging after Hickman left. Yildiray Cinar's art with blee's colors grew on me over time and I'm glad they stuck with an art team. Also the lettering was well done by Ariana Maher especially that double page of the Annihilation Staff. Ewing delivered satisfying endings to almost all the characters.
Art: 4/5

I was left whelmed by this series. Storm is a great character, and I like the stuff with Vulcan. But the way this ending wrapped up by a deus ex machine made this series kind of forgettable.
But again, a hot take I have is that Al Ewing is one of the writers that I'm wary of, and I'm not really a big fan of his works. So maybe this series isnt for me. I'm reading the X-Men series to get caught up to Fall of House/Powers of X, and its kinda tough for me to get a feel for the X-Men books. But of course, I'm in the minority and Im happy people liked this series.
