Who is the Hunted God? That is what Lucifer must discover after prophecy dictates he must save this mysterious prey from a deadly fate in the Wild Hunt, a mythic quest led by one of the most dangerous entities in existence: Odin himself.
To summarize, following up a war with heaven is no easy task. Together with his gang Watters has made the next story even more compelling than the last. Finally all of the pieces are now in place for the hunt to begin. It's going to be fun watching Lucifer try to play the hero and protect the target. Read Full Review
Lucifer #16 is another great issue in this incredible run. The build-up to the Wild Hunt has been entertaining and I am looking forward to seeing the climax. The contrast between the sarcastic and witty Lucifer and the serious Odin has been a fun pairing. It was good to see Mazikeen return to the book, especially with the changes to her dialogue. Dan Watters' run has been magical and continues to grow with each issue. Lucifer #16 continued to create hype for the big hunt that is on the horizon. I am looking forward to seeing how the story picks up even more in issue #17. Read Full Review

Lucifer is such a dick tbh.
I wasn't sold on the hunt before but I am now. It is always good to see a bit more of what happens in Hell. Odin's journey through to get the horn repaired was very interesting and Lucifer's dialogue with Mazikeen was fun to read. Lucifer shows why it very least is tied with The Dreaming for the best current Sandman Universe series (probably better though).
This series has become a must-buy for me. Dan Watters is writing one of the best stories in years. If you've any interest in myths, fantasy or horror then you need to be reading Lucifer. Long may it continue.
This is easily one of the best titles DC has, and maybe the best Sandman Universe title.
