A pleasant surprise. Very fun. It's a relief to have a Green Lantern comic that isn't written by Jeremy Adams. I really liked the use of the alien Lanterns, as well as the characterization of Guy and John.

Better than I anticipated. Stell is incredible, and the rework mirrors his original backstory perfectly. I imagine he’ll become lighter once he comes into contact with Superman. *** storyline finally reaches its conclusion in this issue. I liked it, even though it didn’t need to be as brutal as it was.

Hal Jordan has been overcome by his curse and has turned his sights on Jo!Can the new Lantern figure out how to hold her ground, or will her light be extinguished for good?
The biggest sin is the presence of Ra's. Not only does it not make sense for him to be a villain in a Superman book, but he could be replaced by another villain like Brainiac or Ultra Humanoid.
The worst part is that I really liked the rest of the chapter, we finally have focus on the protagonist and I loved Jimmy and Lois' interactions.
