What gives this even extra spice is Rodriguez’s amazing, complex yet simple artwork. Been a big fan of his since Spider-Woman with Hopeless (another under-appreciated title) and I truly hope this series breaks him out as the A-list talent that he deserves to be more

The Carnage Beyond story was odd. I feel like it comes out of nowhere just to give the Cates' Venom run a sad ending, but maybe that's not the intent. It's okay. I'm not totally invested in this story arc but it is not bad. I'm glad that we got another artist for this as this much more slower issue than the last one. But Anne is written well and explains how this universe works. This only makes me more excited for King in Black.

One of the top comics on the shelves. I can not recommend this any higher.
