Decorum #1

Jul 6, 2020

The first issue of Decorum was a little bit confusing which is expected by every book written by Jonathan Hickman (in a good way) and I love he just completely tells us nothing in the first 10 pages and that’s bloody amazing, I mean he creates weird ass worlds and they all turn out to be epic. I’m sure that they will connect the war in the first pages to the main story and the stuff the carrier girl and that mafia alien fight scene has been epic, my only complain would be they could’ve gave us more information about the world of Decorum and the main story going on, I mean we don’t exactly have status quo yet but this is Jonathan Hickman, so expect one. And The art was pretty good but the change with the realistic pictures and the black and white pictures were just a mess, I mean it’s experimental but it’s really confusing and could’ve been better. Overall this is a really good story with fantastic art with just experimental coloring, and the experimental coloring is just not for me. I hope they can keep up the good world building and storytelling. My hopes are with you Jonathan Hickman, don’t disappoint us.

Okay, this was a good issue but it was not as good as the other one’s.I wonder how they’ll wrap up this wonderful series.

Thor (2020) #4

Mar 20, 2020

so far, Donny cates’ Thor has been one of the treats of 2020. It has been one of the best new series that marvel and writer Donny cates has produced. But this issue was not as big as the others because in this issue we were promised the fight between thor, lady sif and beta ray bill, but the climax wasn’t that good and we didn’t even get that huge fight we were expecting, overall this issue was fantastic but the climax of the lady sif fight could’ve been much much better. Well, thank you Donny cates for this fantastic series, I hope they can wrap up the black winter story arc good.

This is a new take on a some-what classic matter. I think that Kirkman’s going to take this story to places we haven’t seen. I just want to say that, don’t be a “Im just a marvel/dc guy”. Just read the damn book, and you will see it’s one of the best stories on the shelf! And Chris Samnee’s art is perfect as usual.

The aspects of Owen’s family to this story is just absolutely fabulous. It’s so smart, funny and unique. And this arc is starting to fasten up. I think Fire Power is the best series coming out of Image right now!this is just for this issue but i thought they kinda extended but that’s just my opinion

THIS IS IT! The Action, the writing, the art and the story is top notch! This is far one of the most enjoyable image comics i’ve read in a long time. It isn’t that serious and it isn’t that funny, it’s somewhere in between those and i think that’s what a comic should be! But i kinda have a feeling that is gonna be like Invincible, starting off really good, bright and fun then turning into an action drama. Anyways, read this damn series you won’t be disappointed.

The wait was worth it! I never knew we would get this mini series, after years of cancellations I’ve got to admit, I thought all hope was lost but Geoff Johns did it again! He didn’t disappoint us. Geoff Johns is probably the guy who can write literally anything, I mean the guy can wrote about my poop and people would still read it (in a good way). This comic was flawless, Jason Fabok’s artworks is godlike. Go to the street and ask people about “How should a comic look?” and they would imagine either Jason Fabok’s art or Gary Frank’s artwork. And the colors, my god! they were amazing as well. I think at the end of this mini series, this mini series will not only be the best mini series of 2020, it is gonna be one of the best mini series out there! Oh and there’s one thing, I think the lettering was a little bit bad, but that’s just my opinion.

With this issue, actually this whole series puts Zdarsky as one of the top writers on marvel. Inferno was an short but powerful, impactful story arc. Everything from the beginning to the climax was just amazing. I love daredevil. I love zdarsky!

Spurrier knows the characteristics of Constantine very well, and he proves in this issue how much he knows constantine

So,spurrier’s doing an amazing job and Campbell’s unique artstyle makes it more good, but this issue was just a build-up to the final of the peckham rye saga.

John Constantine: Hellblazer #3

This is an absolute love letter to Constantine.I red all of the original hellblazer, all 300 issues and at the very end of the series it started to slow down and get worse and the new 52 series didn’t help, and the rebirth series did even worse, but after almost 7 years we can say that John god damn Constantine is back! Spurrier, you magnificent son of a b**ch,thank you thank you for everything! But,I’m not replacing chas with noah.

As a long time hellblazer fan, I can say that hellblazer is back and it’s at the top of it’s game with this issue.

John Constantine: Hellblazer #5

This whole story arc was goddamn amazing. But despise the serious tones of the last story arc, this was actually very funny and particularly this issue builds up so many important things for the future, and I like to say again that Spurrier is a person that knows the character of John Constantine very well. And Tommy is a really fun character PS: The Art is amazing.

John Constantine: Hellblazer #6

This issue was for the ones who didn’t really liked Noah as a replacement for chas (I am one of them) but spurrier proves that Noah is an amazing and good hearted character in just one issue. This issue was poetic and had very good details about its character, even the ones we see only for a page. This issue is scary, poetic and at times funny. Its everything hellblazer wants to be and should be. Another a plus story!

I think that Simon spurrier has become one of my favorite writers in hellblazer, I mean the stuff with the dreaming was good too, but hellblazer is just on another level. I mean he can show us that he can make little ghost stories turn into poetic horror. I can easily say that with this issue, Spurrier made mermaids scary. This is the best run on hellblazer since Brian Azarello’s run, John Constantine is my favorite character, and Simon spurrier shows why we love the character. I can say this a hundred times but spurrier is a gift from god to us hellblazer fans. I want to give a low score, because I rated almost every issue on this series a 10, but there’s nothing bad. I love this series. Everyone should read it!

Did Constantine just gave us a lesson on the meaning of love? I think he really did. I mean I don’t know how I could praise Simon Spurrier and his amazing artist Aaron Campbell more but goddamn they never disappoint us! And from the first stories of hellblazer, one of Constantine’s biggest thing was that he can bring so much humanity and so much personality and so much relatability to the forces that are fighting for evil and good, and I really think that, this is what John Constantine is for, this is why the comics media exist, and I know this may sound stupid but I really believe that this is why John Constantine is Hellblazer. Thank You, Simon Spurrier for everything you’ve done for my absolute favorite character of all time, you are an living god for me and I hope for all hellblazer fans. And Aaron Campbell’s art just creeps me out and that’s in a good way, I think it really matches the tone of the writing. Another Amazing Story Arc! Another Amazing Issue! I hope everyone feels the same with me on this series because I haven’t seen a flaw in this whole series.

I just can’t... This series is just so perfect. Simon Spurrier’s Hellblazer started off really good as all Hellblazer writers do, but Spurrier just turned into something fresh, something new and something we haven’t seen in years in the Hellblazer stories. I think that his biggest gift is that he can blend in laugh out loud stories and the ultra dark ghost stories really well. There isn’t much to say, this series absolutely brilliant. ( oh and Matias Bergara’s art is a perfect match to Spurrier’s comedic stories). Amazing mix of religion and norse mythology and the art fiumara makes it even more good and his artstyle can be so beautiful and yet so disturbing and the writing of Watters. This is a love letter to Lucifer and I wonder how they’ll wrap up the wild hunt.
