I really just wanted to comment on the fact that we get to see Gwen's mother allow a 7 to 8 year old little Gwen into the same room as a criminally insane and incarcerated man who has a knife! Not mother of the year material there!! Also, Misty shows up at the end with a bag of... ice cream cones? I hope it wasn't a long drive and then wait for Gwen to get off work! I think there would be a soggy bag and they'd need a straw!

The hiatus makes it that there "needs" to be recap, but some of it goes directly against things we saw at the end of the first trade. The art is good, but certain things feel more like gimmicks than they did in the first six issues (ie: multi-colored wing sauce and noodles). The last 2 pages may be the best and most intriguing the series has had yet, but not much happens leading up to it. I know this will be one of those books that people will refuse to rate honestly even when there are obvious flaws in the pacing or narrative, but not much happened overall and some of the stuff that did was convoluted and confusing. It's up to you to decide if you trust Camp to come through by the end, but I'm not reviewing it at the end right now, I'm reviewing this issue, and overall, I was disappointed with it.

This book is just poorly written - wooden dialogue, awful pacing, too many characters. Parralax taking over John should feel bigger, but how can it, when it all was a prop to give us "John Stewart, this is your Life"

The book is the newest example of the emperor's new clothes - most people who praise this book can't say why, but when they try, they sound as high as Deniz Camp loves to beag he is on social media. Say no to drugs kids, and talking chicken wings

All over the place yet barely doing anything - never thought I'd prefer the Peter in Space story but at least we get Peter there as Ben and Norman fart around until Peter returns to Earth

What a boring start to a "New Run" - Separating the FF in this "first issue" is just ridiculous and the whole thing felt uninspiring.

It took 30 issues to get to this? I hope Infernal Hulk has better pacing (paint drying has better pacing to be honest) and a tighter focus, but that is certainly not PKJs thing. How much you liked this run is definitely proportionate to your patience and mine wore thin 15 issues ago, but I made it to the end... if you can call it that.

Nightwing is my favorite character - I don't know who the guy is in this book!

Another lame and boring Poem - it didn't work the first time, and now it's bad and redundant. Deniz Camp is the most overrated writer of the last 20 years!

Why does every issue make me feel like past issues didn't matter instead of building on what happened before?

A incomprehensible mess

I'm with SpeedForce23 above - I am only reading to see if it can get any worse, and sadly, Tom King keeps proving it can. He rarely "gets" a character, but it becomes glaringly obvious when he writes one as well-known and beloved as Diana. Hey Tom, stick to characters like Human Target and leave Wonder Woman and her fans alone!

Dead Book Walking. This entire run of Star Wars has been boring and inconsequential. Segura needs to be fired and Marvel needs to do something to get some hype going for the Star Wars line stat!

Lots of recap and Skrull nonesense to setup a Knull book - not what I thought a #250 would be at all.
