Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #3 is the perfect execution and representation of all the fun that can be had when you bring two iconic properties together. The writing and artwork are on point and this comic had me locked in from the cover to the last page. The cliffhanger is awesome, and this is definitely one of the most entertaining comics you'll read this week. Read Full Review

It's a remarkable accomplishment, creating a functional crossover between Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Maybe Batman is just more flexible than the Power Rangers, but there's something to be said about a story that threats the concept as more than a gimmick. In an era when unwritten rules dictate that every gimmick be done to death, it's refreshing to find one like this that is genuinely enjoyable. Read Full Review
Typically, a crossover like this would be spinning its wheels by this point, trudging along waiting for the conclusion. Instead, the meeting between Batman and the Turtles has been a pretty favorable look at both franchises, with new elements and characters introduced organically and genuine surprises coming into play. Part of it is pure nostalgia, I'll admit, but as long as it's aquality product that's all that matters. Read Full Review
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles finally join forces with the Batman himself, but James Tynion IV gets just a little ahead of himself with his plot structure, and winds up dropping the ball on this epic team-up. Read Full Review
Since this is a major crossover, it merits close scrutiny and appreciation. This series has been an uphill battle, but it is finally bearing fruit. The comic still has a long way to go to reach its maximum potential, hopefully it will be able to do so in the final two issues. With the cliffhanger Tynion left readers with, the story is definitely on the upswing and has great possibility. Those invested so far or are still intriguing by the concept/content, should continue giving it a shot. Readers should continue crossing their fingers; there is light at the end of the sewer tunnel. My inner child is bouncing off the walls after this. Tynion is doing an amazing job so far.
I'm surprised at Shredder's actions, but I suppose I can't rule them out due to his sheer hatred of the turtles. Mikey is priceless, and so is the artwork. Another great issue.
it's not easy telling you why i love this comics series so much without giving away spoilers galore! but what i can tell you is just about everything that you'd hope for, or expect to see in this series is here (or on the horizon). this is honestly my favorite comic right now! it's 2 of my absolute favorite sets of heroes, with a fantastic representation of what i love about both franchises. James Tynion IV has an excellent voice for the characters, and Freddie Williams II is delivering the goods in the art department!!! the surprise at the end made my jaw drop! can't wait for the next issue!!
