It's the final battle as the Bat-family and the Turtles face off against Bane and the Foot Clan on Liberty Island. With America's great symbol of freedom watching over them, the Dark Knight and the Heroes on a Half-Shell must bring Bane's tyrannical rule over New York to an end. And don't forget about Shredder. What role will that deadly villain have to play in all of this? It's all-out action in this exciting series conclusion.
Just like the first series in 2015, Batman/ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II was a blast. Fans never thought we'd get a crossover, let alone a second time. This sequel was just as much fun as the original. Tynion gave each character their own moments, but gave the spotlight to Donatello, and deservedly so. It was a great arc for the smartest turtle, to show just how important he is to the team. Freddie Williams nailed every panel, giving comic book fans exactly what they want, and deserve. I own each issue, but can't wait for it to be released in one collection. Read Full Review
No mutant fly will stop me from giving this a solid 5 out of 5. Excellent writing, characterization, and retained underlying main plot involving the Turtle who has a way with machines. Excellent work to all involved. TURTLE POWER! Read Full Review
Bane quickly grabs control of the Foot Clan and boosts their power with his patented Venom. Donnie is so desperate to rectify his mistake he resorts to taking the Venom himself to launch a one-turtle assault on Bane's forces. Batman and Leonardo are able to break through Donnie's rage-fueled barrage of violence and monologuing with the power of a scientific formula (think of the science nerd's version of Lois Lane waking up Superman). Now we get to see the Purple Professor's master plan turned into action as the Turtles — backed up by the Bat-family — try to take New York back from Bane. Read Full Review
The issue's best moments are in the quieter moments, such as Raphael and Damian's ongoing snarking and just how Batman got Shredder to cooperate with their plan. Read Full Review
The finale to Batman/TMNT II actually hits the right notes and gives this crossover a very solid conclusion making it a crossover fans of the properties will have some fun with. Freddie Williams art is always great something I really enjoy looking at and a trilogy of this series wouldn't be frowned upon by this reviewer. Read Full Review
I enjoyed this series as a love letter to the TMNT, as it made me remember when I was a kid, as well as the overall treatment of Bane. Go throw on Vanilla Ices Ninja Rap and enjoy it. Read Full Review
While I thought Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II's plot was convoluted at times and had inconsistent art, it did deliver a fluffy and fun adventure on par with their first crossover. Read Full Review
More a montage than a complete story, at least the finale of this series is consistent with everything that came before. There are some great ideas present, but the execution is lacking in any sort of buildup and excitement. Like the rest of the story as presented in the previous issues, the final installment of Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II is a pretty nice looking work that doesn't engage in any way on a story level. Despite a flaw here & there, just a fun crossover.
The end is the better part of this volume. It's maybe rushing out at the end, but I liked reading it.
I still made that Tynion IV didn't use the time to talk of the similarity between April & Lois.
The end battle wasn't that good & enjoying while we have Batman, Splinter & Shreder in the same team.
Cover - 2/2 nice & related.
Writing - I liked better this part of the story full of action. 3/3
Arts - Still great. 3/3
Feelings - I find Tynion IV better on the first part or in detective comics. 1/2
A solid ending, but for my money the first crossover was a better story.
