The 80th anniversary of Batman collides with the 35th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in this stunning concluding miniseries to the BATMAN/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES trilogy. Our heroes have battled the evil of the Foot Clan in Gotham City and Bane in New York, but now Krang has gotten his hands on the most dangerous technologies in the DC Universe-and no universe is safe from his wrath! Co-published with IDW.
I already see that this is going to be one of my favorite books of 2019 thanks to this terrific premise and fun execution. Read Full Review
Fans of the first two series, and the Batman/TMNT Adventures book, are in for a treat. Expect everything you loved from the stories that came before, with a touch of multiversal mayhem thrown in for good measure. If the next five issues are half as good as this one, I may have to lock myself in the house, put my local Pizza delivery company on speed-dial and just sit at home reading comics and munching on pepperoni perfection all day long. Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III looks to be a treat for both Batman and TMNT fans. It looks like Tynion, Williams, and Eastman are going to close out this crossover trilogy in style. Read Full Review
Overall, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III's first issue does a great job of bringing the reader into this universe and building this world. Tynion even has a few surprises in store for fans of the series from the beginning they wont see coming and I know I certainly didn't. Williams and Colwell are always reliable as an art team really coming through with some truly excellent character designs here. Don't let this being the third arc, in cross company crossover series, discourage you from jumping in cold here, there is plenty to enjoy for everyone. Read Full Review

There's just something about Batman and TMNT that fits so naturally well together; it's nothing short of joyous seeing them reunited again. James Tynion IV and Freddie Williams II have established themselves as a powerhouse of a creative team. A formidable dynamic duo that can contend with the very best"both on the streets of Gotham and New York City. Read Full Review
Fan service doesnt always have to have a negative connotation. When you can do it at this high of a level and have fun in the meantime, how can that be bad? This trilogy deserves much love for how well its weaved two very different franchises into something that feels so perfectly suited. The art is strikingly distinctive and conveys all the energy of Indy roots, Saturday mornings, dark knights, and bat mania. The writing is instantly engrossing. This is the beginning of a perfect way to cap off a fantastic trilogy. Read Full Review
Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III #1 was an absolute blast. From beginning to end James Tynion IV, Freddie E. Williams II and Kevin Eastman crafted a comic book that will leave fans with a smile on their face. If you are a fan of Batman and/or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this is a must have comic book. The issue is probably not on enough people's radars and that's there loss as this looks like it is taking some great elements from DC and just rolling with it and having fun. This may be the start of one of the most fun comic crossovers in a while. Read Full Review
It's still just the first issue, but Batman/TMNT III is already showing the potential to be the best chapter in this recurring mini-series. Read Full Review
This isn't just a conclusion to this cycle of miniseries, it's a tribute to the entire history of the Ninja Turtles property and gives off the impression that this could be the comic book equivalent of "Turtle-Verse". Great, suitably bizarre start. Read Full Review
This is a great introduction to a very creative story illustrated with gorgeous artwork. Definitely a book you want to pick up. Read Full Review
This continues to show Tynion and Williams are having a lot of fun with these characters and we reap the benefits of that. This third installment in the crossover universe also takes mashups to the next level. Don't miss it. Read Full Review
It's always great to see the TMNT interact with the Dark Knight given how alike they are. That is always how the Turtles work best; they make up four facets of one person, and each goes into Batman equally. Tynion and Williams are an amazing team and they are aiming at going out on top. They've brought out the best in both properties because they acknowledge the source material in equal parts. I look forward to get answers next week and find out what exactly is going on. After preceding series that varied in quality, this mini is off to a strong start. The story is interesting, the visuals are fantastic, and the twist at the end opens up all sorts of storytelling possibilities. There's not an awful lot to be said beyond that, so go check it out. You won't be disappointed.SCORE: 8/10 Read Full Review
Iinitially considered this project shameless pandering to fans of bothfranchises, but the closer I looked, the more I realized how subtle thesub-references can be. For this, I give credit to the art team. The renderingis exceptional, merging the gritty, grainy quality of early Eastman & Lairdefforts with the current over-stylized DC fare. Read Full Review
There's fun to be had here, and the big reveal at the end suggests there' another layer to this crossover madness, but we're not quite to the good stuff yet. Read Full Review
It's awesome.
Spoiler Alert: This is crazy awesome!
I read both installments of the Batman/TMNT crossovers. Both volumes had been better than they had any right too when presented on paper. Both series managed to stay true to the characters while adding depth to the overall mythos. It's a shame that both series are probably outside of continuity because It would be pretty awesome to see the Turtles and Batman regularly interact with each other's rogues galleries. If the trilogy has proven nothing else its that the grounded nature of the TMNT Rogues and the Batman Villains are a match made in comic heaven.
Batman/TMNT III takes the Amalgam Comics route and mashes the franchises together. In this issue, Batman seems to be the field leader of "Clan Hamato". Splinter and Alfred have more
Good for new readers too cuz I didn't know this was the third series!
Of all the TMNT/Batman crossovers so far, this one starts the strongest. I wondered what they would do after exploring both Batman's world and TMNT's in the previous 2, so combining them is like the natural progression and some of the designs are just damn cool like Red Hood Raphael.
This is quite fun. This time Batman& TMNT characters are mixed together like the TMNT are like Batmans Robins. Joker& Harley or rather a mixed version of them are making an attack& Krang also showed up. I loved the Batman TMNT animated crossover by Manning, but this seems to be quite promising so far. Feels like a classic Elseworld.
