DC Comics News - Carl Bryan Jul 29, 2020

Taylor does some of his best writing in this issue as he is treating this prequel as a character exploration. Carmine Di Giandomenico does some of the best work you'll see in visual story-telling. I echo what I have always said about Taylor's work! I hope this series continues as there are too many great stories within Taylor's DCeased World! Read Full Review

Beyond The Panel - Jideobi Odunze Jun 17, 2020

All in all, another must-read for the DCeased series. Hope at World's End #3 answered the question you couldn't do without in a story like this, and approached it with heroism and thrill. It was through issues like this where you could really getting into the idea that there is hope at the end of the world. Read Full Review

DCeased: Hope at World's End Chapter Three helps cement this series as one of the best digital comics out there but also one of the best comics going right now. Each chapter can be enjoyed on their own while revealing bits about the bigger story. They're also packed with emotion from joy to sadness from despair to hope. It's an emotional ride that's worth the money. Read Full Review

Outside of the head-scratching intro to the issue, I think this book is an extremely solid continuation of this book, and has reignited my excitement after it had died down in the wake of issue two. It's just nice to see a book starring Wally that doesn't leave me with my soul crushed. This book continues to be the standout of DC's current comic lineup for me.  Read Full Review

Tom Taylor and Carmine Di Giandomenico give readers a bang for their buck with this Wally West chapter of DCeased: Hope At World's End.  I can't say the series is a must-read yet, but Wally West fans should check this out immediately if only to see what Tom Taylor has in store for their favorite Speedster! The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge Jun 23, 2020

Like a lot of others, I could sing the praises of Tom Taylor all day long. I've actually not read a lot of his mainstream DC work but have read a ton of his non-continuity works and am a huge fan there because you can see just how much he gets so many of these characters and knows how to work them through tough situations with actual consequences, which is the biggest draw of it all. Carmine Di Giandomenico puts in a strong job here on the art duties with great looking characters, a fantastic flow to following the fast-moving action of the speedsters, and really capturing an intense look with the infected. I'm excited to see what the series has in store next. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez Jun 17, 2020

DCeased: Hope At World's End #3 is an emotionally impactful issue. Tom Taylor, Carmine Di Giandomenico, and Rex Lokus hit all the right story beats to maximize the page count of this issue. There is no wasted moment as we see Wally West lead the Flash Family in combating the Anti-Life Equation Virus. As heartbreaking as the conclusion of DCeased: Hope At World's End #3 it'll be interesting if any of the plot elements of this issue are used in the upcoming Dead Planet sequel. Read Full Review
