This is a great issue. The art is beautiful. I like the status quo of the city and the situation Oliver is in. It's a fun and interesting start to this new arc. I highly recommend reading it. Read Full Review
Benjamin Percy has written the perfect jumping on issue for those readers lured in by last month's tie-in with Dark Nights: Metal and guest artist Jamal Campbell proves a match for the other excellent artists who regularly work on this title. Read Full Review
Percy gives Green Arrow a chance to catch his breath, but the high-stakes action and personal drama readers have come to expect looks like it's going to return very soon. It's nice to see Green Arrow back at the top of its game and regaining its place among the Rebirth elite. Read Full Review
Green Arrow #33 moves the saga of the Emerald Archer into its next stage, and it looks to be just as challenging as ever. This issue has sweet moments, heartache, and great action sequences. This is a great comic, and its a good time to jump on with the new arc starting here. Give it a read. Read Full Review
Overall this Issue was substantial. It gave us some background for Oliver and showed a healthy future for Green Arrow. The beginning of this arc is like a sweet breath of fresh air, from here on out I'm pretty sure we will mainly be seeing action or the court trial. Art is fantastic; I hope Jamal Campbell does more with the Green Arrow series in the future. Read Full Review
A strong first issue in a new arc that looks great and changes the game. Read Full Review
Green Arrow has had an embarrassment of riches when it comes to artists since the beginning of DC Rebirth. Jamal Campbell turns out to be a very strong addition to that artistic line up, and there's very little drop-off in quality. Read Full Review
This issue is a a slow down after the gotham resistance tie in. It's a fantastic narrative that shows the reader that Oliver Queen isn't some punk kid. He has people who rely on him and he has his support structure. I'm very curious how the trial will go! The art is fantastic and the story is solid! Read Full Review
The art again is really on point Green Arrows artist has his own style almost abstract as opposed to hyper real but it is gorgeous. Read Full Review
As you can tell, this series just keeps on disappointing me. Percy's insistence on keeping the Ninth Circle around and attempting to pay off weird storytelling decisions he made earlier in the series don't come across as satisfying in the slightest. The art, however, is absolutely great. Read Full Review
The Trial of Two Cities arc is underway and it's a lackluster start. The story jumps around too much and nothing seems to stick. The art is okay, but by the end, that can't save this mediocre issue. Read Full Review
