Jake. Murder Falcon. Johann. Who's next to join the band? If they're going to defeat the Veldar, they're going to need someone to lay down a heavy beat.
You can almost hear the drum beat or the wail of the guitar as you follow the story and that adds an additional element of fun to this series and this issue. Read Full Review
This book is too metal for one hand, I find myself in absolute love with this series as it's been unfolding. It's relatable and fantastic all at the same time. Read Full Review
The destruction of the Earth and the annihilation of humanity at the hands (or claws, rather) of the horrifying Veldar is imminent. Do not despair, rescue will be achieved by distortion and order restored by drumming. As it should be. Read Full Review
Murder Falcon has just enough seriousness to it to make the whole absurdity not become old and stale. That was the biggest obstacle this series had to overcome. If books are weird and goofy just to be weird and goofy, that usually outstays its welcome after two issues. Usually the jokes become old. Johnson injects some true heart into the story and focuses enough on our characters and their relationships to keep all the goofy aspects fun and enjoyable. Murder Falcon is not a perfect book, but you are missing out on a lot if you are not picking it up! Read Full Review
Daniel Warren Johnson delivers a drum solo in Murder Falcon #3, even if this third installment already feels a little repetitive to what's come before. Read Full Review
The series does what it does best in delivering action, but it's beginning to become a bit repetitive in its storytelling. Read Full Review

DWJ never fails to break your heart every time you learn something new about a character.
What a fun issue. So absured, so goofy, but with a lot of heart. This is what comic books are about. I love DWJ's art style. He's very creative.
Good issue, but not crazy awesome like the first two. Art was amazing.
The character development is as subtle as--well--a metal robot arm to your noggin.
Extremity demonstrated that Danial Warren Johnson can be so much more effective and subtle than this meat-headed, heavy-handed, repetitive, cloying sludge.
