Metal doesn't happen with just one man... and neither does saving the world! As monsters attack the city, Jake and Murder Falcon must recruit a bassist to join their fight. Luckily, they know a guy.
Murder Falcon is a damn near perfect comic. No, I'm going to change that. It's definitely a perfect comic. It has everything you'd want from a book from awesome action, jaw-dropping artwork, and compelling characters. It's all powered by metal, so throw up the horns and read the hell out of this comic. Murder Falcon #2 is a wild ride that perfectly adds to the entertaining story that the first issue set up. The issue has everything that made the first issue great with an added depth that pulls us deeper into this tale of heavy metal and heroism. Read Full Review

Daniel Johnson does an impressive job of mixing the absurd with reality in a believable manner. His characters are flawed and relatable. The artwork is some of the best you will find in any action-adventure title. Read Full Review

Maybe there's not a whole lot of sense going on yet, maybe there never will be, but Murder Falcon is pure audacious shredding fun. The energy and enthusiasm is captivating and thoroughly uplifting. Rock and Roll is back to save our souls. Read Full Review
It's easy to dismiss Murder Falcon as an early Image hero-with-lots-of-pockets romp, but there's more going on here. Murder Falcon is not for everyone, but it's worth a look and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. Read Full Review
Daniel Warren Johnson is an incredible artist and he continues to show that in Murder Falcon #2. After his emotional Extremity series it seems like he is having a little bit more fun with Murder Falcon. He still has some heart in the series, but it is also a lot of wacky fun as well. Having some seriousness to the series with dealing with loss and coming back from it helps it keep from being a one off joke. Read Full Review

This was really fun. I really like how we are sweep in this story between happiness & deep sadness. I really love the effort of construction of the characters. And I love when they play & when Murder Falcon fight. And I think behind the dump "fighting monsters" part they give some advice on grieving, reconstruction and depression.
Cover - Nice and totally in link to what I read 2/2
Writing - If you want some fun time, with respect for people liking metal. If you want to see a secret passage behind a wall in a music shop. If you like to see how life can part friends, but also connect them once more. Read this book. 3/3

This is what Dark Nights: Metal wishes it was; crazy, over-the-top fun with a heart of gold.
Amazingly metal madness
Awesome!
Love it. It's crazy and ridiculous. It reminds me of all the late 80's/early 90's toy lines that spun out off the success of the Ninja turtles. Biker mice from Mars? Food fighters? Barnyard commandos?... Plus it has metal, so I'm in.
