Just when I thought they were taking too much from Kirkmans Ant man, they go in a surprising direction. The series is on my must buy list
This series just keeps getting more intriguing, insane & impressive with every issue. I think this is the passion project for Kyle Higgins i think because it feels like power rangers but with more traditional sci-fi elements. This issue proved just that. It's power rangers meets, idk, its just about this series & this issue that feels fresh & new. i really like what's done in here because we get more explanation about the other radiants but also more mystery. The banter between the group is great, the action is unique & it helps propel the story & character dynamics, etc.
I'M HOOKED TO THIS STORY & CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MORE!
Radiant Black continues its excellent storytelling and world building with issue #7. This is definitely one of the funnest comics on the stands right now.
We pick up right after the events of issue #5 when the Radiants encounter a mysterious enemy (who I’m calling Glitch for now) that is hunting them for their powers. We don’t get any new background on who this powerful enemy is but we do get get an awesome showdown between him and the Radiants. It’s so much fun to see their powers displayed, especially as a team.
The biggest jumping out of my seat moment is when Radiant Pink accidentally teleports herself and Marshall to space! We get to see them land in the middle of what seems to be an intergalactic war bet more
Really enjoyed the new characters, and the menacing villain. Radiant Black has been a revelation, I freaking love this series. But I do have so many questions ahah
Reviewing the seventh issue of Radiant Black and of all the books I've started reading in the last year this has seen some of the best growth in my opinion. When it first started I thought this was another of Image's overhyped books, but it's actually continued to get better with each issue. every issue seems to sell out in my area too, so I'm assuming I'm not alone in my appreciation for this book.
