Artist terrible? What?
That which was pure and perfect is gone. Home, a distant memory. Some yet fight to preserve good, to resist the consumption of the whispers.
Seven to Eternity #8 is not a jumping on point by any stretch of the imagination so do yourself a favor and please go out to grab some back issues along the way to fully enjoy this book! Because what we have here is a daring adventure wrapped up in an engaging fantasy that just demands the attention of fanboys and fangirls. So by all means, add this title to your pull-list. It is a series that likely performs better in trades than in individual issues, which is a shame because this sprawling story has an unrelenting pace and is frequently a top book of the weeks that it comes out. Read Full Review
Things are looking terrible for everyone in a very good way for "Seven to Eternity." Read Full Review
The story as it is right now isn't quite strong enough to stand on its own, independent of Opena's incredible artwork. Read Full Review
I had no problems with this issue and thought that it matched the tone and direction of the previous arcs, but I do get that people hate this departure from the main storyline. My argument against any dislike for this issue is that this was important character development for several characters that would have died if the issue had just moved on.
The story is moving forward and the characters continue to be evolved. Love how fast paced and still rich in story this book is.
Still Good. The story and characters are layered. Peeling the onion oh wait! Wrong book. Harren is good but Opena is in a different league.
It's getting difficult to keep up with whatever is going on. And the art is terrible in this issue.
This is likely my last issue. Art was bad. Story is too confusing.
7.5/10.
