I’m with you this comic sucks.

RATED T+
There's been a lot of buzz, both good and bad online, about MJ becoming the new Venom, but I'm really excited to see where this goes and how it affects Venom for years to come. I believe he's going to come through this a changed symbiote and could spark the dawn of a new anti-hero altogether. Read Full Review
The logic and connection displayed between the newly bonded Venom has my attention, and I hope it's not too late for this book. Also, I'm just thrilled that it isn't Paul behind the "mask and really hope that Marvel will stop pushing this character as no one likes him. Read Full Review
All-New Venom #6 succeeds as a reflective and unsettling turning point, anchoring Mary Jane's transformation into Venom with gruesome imagery and emotionally loaded conversations. While light on action, it rewards readers invested in the series' twists, delivering a body horror-laced evolution that puts MJ at the center of Venom's future. Read Full Review
All-New Venom #6 firmly establishes a new direction for the comic in the wake of last issue's grand reveal, exemplifying the boundless potential Mary Jane and Venom have as a duo. Read Full Review
This is a truly bizarre comic book for so many reasons. Only an “All-New Mary Jane Watson” with her history and memories wiped clean would ever consider linking with Venom. Plus, I suffered an overdose of Paul in this issue. Not for the faint-hearted! Read Full Review
So many things to love about this. The clever digs at the absurdity of the Jackpot device; the conflict compelling MJ to trust Venom, and the journey Venom has gone to being a creature worthy of that faith; the incredibly satisfying dressing-down of Paul (and implication that he's an emotional abuser maybe?); the table-turning so that now MJ is the one hiding a secret life from her partner and worrying them sick (the way Peter used to do to her); the way that even if they don't think they're friends, Venom and MJ agree at least that Spider-Man is the best.
It's a treasure of a comic, the first time in years I've bought a Venom book in physical copies. I wish I could give my review 11 stars!
Oh hey, Mary Jane still hates the symbiote. But she can't separate from it because Paul created a stupid machine that Venom unlocked and killed her with. Now they are bonded or they die. Yeah that makes sense. They are not friends. They are host and symbiote out of necessity. "We are Venom... and we are Mary Jane Watson. Or we're dead." Love it. Venom's own personality in this series has been really great. I love that they keep going back to, "What would Spider-Man do?" What does it take to be heroic. They try. If there is the smallest chance of the slightest shred of the tiniest sliver of hope, they'd try. And if there was no hope at all, they try just the same. Also, Venom bang blocking Paul is pretty funny. Paul's emotionally erratic behmore
This issue is mostly setting up what happened between MJ and Venom and its actually kinds clever. Al Ewing has been writing venom now for a minute and his characterization of his struggle between good and evil always us a fun think to watch play out. Here its led to a new Venom host in Mary Jane, and I think she's actually doing s pretty nice job as the latest venom.
Not much else going on for this issue but the next one looks exciting.
Dylan remains a fiend.
I dig this. It still works for me and makes sense for me.
It gave a s decent reason to the pairing. Is it great? No, but I feel it's gotten a little better than when this series started.
No.
This was terrible once again this book fails only way to save MJ’s character is to reveal this MJ is a clone made by Paul. So the real MJ can be hidden and free from this character assassination.
