Theres several books, particularly at Marvel, that can give All New Wolverine a run for its money when it comes to delivering fun and engaging humor, and theres several books under the Batman group at DC that are exploring the toughest realities in a humane and nuanced way, but there arent any better at integrating both qualities into a single book. All-New Wolverine #5 is a great penultimate chapter in Laura's first story as the Marvel U's Wolverine. Taylor, Lopez, Navarrot and Fairbairn are a great team and this arc has only grown stronger as it has progressed. The Janet/Laura team-up in this issue is fun to read (who would have ever expected Laura to don an Ant-Man suit and go cruising through a human body?), but the heartfelt bond between the new Wolverine and her sisters is where the real heart of this issues rests. Read Full Review

ALL-NEW WOLVERINE #5 ultimately is hard to review, since it's an issue with a lot of potential and even some really memorable and outstanding moments, and overall, it leads up nicely to the stories' finale. On the other hand, it feels weirdly forced due to unnecessary cameos and nothing new or interesting being done with the Ant-Man concept. Read Full Review

A weak, over-reaching storyline really misses the emotional beats it is trying to convey. The clones aren't likable yet, and this new Wolverine isn't that believable in this new Marvel Universe. At least The Wasp was a welcomed addition to this otherwise lack luster issue. Read Full Review

Prelude: All-New Wolverine has been amazing for me so far. Let's continue our trip to see the next character on the list, Wasp. The Good: I love the Sisters so much. Seeing Belladonna start to cry, it makes me so happy and tear up myself. The art from Lopez and Navarrot is great as always. So, so much emotion. The Bad: Nothing. Conclusion: I have a rule. Make me cry and I will give the issue a 10. Well played Taylor.

Very good series and even though Alchemax, Captain Mooney, and Dr Chandler are pretty bland villains, Laura and her three clones plus a guest star (Wasp) carry this issue enough for it to be a great comic. I'm really loving Laura as Wolverine and Taylor is the best writer to write Laura since Craig Kyle

Very average all over really, nothing to rave about but serviceable
