I have not been one to fight back on Marvel's launch into diversity. Most of the Legacy characters suit me fine. I was a little sad to see Viv replaced with a human self though. Seeing a teenager that had to deal with the fact that she was so unlike everyone else as a synthizoid was very compelling. It also created a nice Vision counter part for the Champions. It is hard to say if Viv becoming human is a permanent state since solicitations seem to imply otherwise, but if this is the new norm something could be made of the fact that Viv seemed less interested in becoming more human like her father. She always seemed curious about humans, sure, but never really wanting for the experience. She even turned off her emotions after the loss of her more

I thought this issue was pretty good. It leaves the stakes high and poor Viv! The story could be a little more fine tuned but, I enjoyed what we got. The art still remains a low point and this series would benefit with a different artist. Overall, a fun read that brings us closer to the finale of this crossover.

A little quick on the end. Both time came at the same time in the fortress while one was in this world much longer. Ok maybe Hulk calculation was that precise. I love the new Viv, even if she will lost all her power, and that we will see her less or no more. That make a very good drama moment, Falcon are more chance than Viv. I wonder who this time the High evolutionary fear. The last time (In new warriors that was the celestials who didn't came at all ^^) I believe his ending wasn't really one (Like Missy in Dr who season 8, I believe it's a teleporter) ^^ Cover : 1/2 Good but not that good. Weakest issue of the world's collide crossover so far but still a ton of promise for parts 5 and 6. Waid is doing a great job but Humberto Ramos is lagging behind the Avengers series artist

What a shame. Ramos delivers, as usual, the Visions have sweet moments. But Champions is about the team and their connection, and none of that is evident here.

Viv's a human now, the High Evolutionary gets beat, there's still more heroing to do. In all the crush and hoo-ha, Mark Waid thoroughly lost the thread of strongly-voiced team collaboration that made the Champions special. This is just a nigh-random assembly of Avengers and Junior Avengers taking turns reciting alternating "smart guy" and "tough guy" lines on the road to saving the Earth from an utterly clichéd doom. Even Humberto Ramos's art can only do so much to ennoble this blah story, and everything in this issue beyond the dramatic change in Viv's status quo pops out of your head like a disposable turkey thermometer as soon as you close the book.
