Dead Man Logan #12(Brisson, Henderson, Woodard, Petit) delivers a beautiful sunset of an ending with the promise that tomorrow, the sun will rise again. Read Full Review
Dead Man Logan #12 is an excellent send-off for Logan. Brisson and company are a bit rushed by the page count, but it hits the right emotional notes. The fight, in the beginning, lacks a bit of punch because of the pacing, but it's still exciting. The highlight of the book is Logan's farewell to his family, perfectly capturing the man and his struggle with his past. Brisson, and Jeff Lemire before him have been writing one of the best Wolverine books in years, and Dead Man Logan was a fantastic send-off for the character. It had action, adventure, and emotion. Ed Brisson's writing captured the personalities wonderfully, and Mike Henderson's art made the whole thing that much better. This issue was almost perfect, a fitting end. Read Full Review
Overall, I was very satisfied, as a long time Old Man Logan fan with the way this series concluded. I thought Brisson and Henderson did a great job of handling this series from start to finish, giving it two very distinct and different arcs, as a long form goodbye to a character I had a blast with but had run his course, what with the ‘real Wolverine' back in action. The last issue here is a quick, brutal, and emotional read and I recommend it to anyone who has a remote interest in the character. Read Full Review
I just wish the original had been this good. Read Full Review
This series had a really tough time staying interesting throughout, but the final road to its finale was actually quite compelling. Read Full Review
A formulaic conclusion to a long-lasting series. It hits all the right emotional beats, but it feels a tad rushed. Grandpa Logan will be missed. Read Full Review
Ed Brisson is one of the best writers working in the business right now. Everything he writes is well planned, well plotted, inspired, surprising and tight.
And that was the case with all of Dead Man Logan, with striking art by Mike Henderson. Highly recommended.
a fantastic end to a great character who happens to be the alternate version of the main Logan.
This was a really good ending, I definitely felt it right in the feels.
This was a good finale. It even managed to have some emotional significance, which I wasn't expecting. Overall, this was a fun mini.
Punishingly average. I may just be too old; this was a mark-one "hard man's death" and I've seen scads of them. Many equal, some worse, plenty better.
