Doctor Strange is pulled in every direction by powerful figures while millions of lives rest in the balance - including his own! Yalda, Sophia, Bythos or himself: who should Strange serve? Who can he trust? Can this world's deadly ritual be stopped? Or is the answer simply?BLOOD? Heaven help us; it must be blood.

Reading this book is like drowning in a churning sea of beautiful psychedelic confusion, but then watching as the seemingly chaotic and random narrative threads are woven into an impressively compelling and surprisingly coherent story. Tradd Moore was definitely on acid when he created this comic, I'm sure of it. But I think he also may be a genius. Jury is still out. For now...another 10/10.
Weird
I was already a huge fan of tradd moore's art but hadn't read anything he had written. This book is a masterpiece! This story is deep, poignant, and challenging yet beautiful. This is the type of story that should be read multiple times to truly understand all the layers of the plot. As usual the artwork is simply stunning! It always takes me a long time to get through a tradd moore book as I can't help but to admire each page. Heather moore also does an absolutely phenomenal job with the colors making this a must own book in my opinion.
I don’t know how you don’t grab a copy based on curb appeal alone.
The writing is only great, not fantastic, but that doesn’t hold the art and story overall from being fantastic.
Tradd Moore can do no wrong.
An absolute breath of fresh air to read. Tradd Moore is legitimate superstar creator at this point. He's somehow as talented a writer and scripter as he is an artist and he's pushing that talent to the max here.
I'd be remiss not to mention the colors from Heather Moore as well. Every choice she's made throughout this series has been perfect. I want an artist sized edition of this ASAP.
When I first new of doctor strange comics this is the kind of book I thought it would be.
It falls shy of perfection by aspiring to be a bit more profound than it really is. Lord, it's ambitious, though! And it's presented with knock-your-eyes-out art on every page.
It's a great comic to ponder, and we don't get too many of those in the Marvel universe.
Max flippant reaction: I got big 3rd Age of Middle-earth elf vibes from Yalda. "I can explain exactly what the forces of evil have in store for you, but I am too overcome with ennui and despair to help you, sorry."
The story and plot got a bit jumbled here, but the art was impressive.
