This book is one of my favorites coming out right now and this issue ups the ante. While the mystery of what is Namor and what is Tommy was fun, the totally insane and unhinged Namor maybe even more so. Fun in a hes going to turn the whole planet into his own personal aquarium kind of way that is! I dont just recommend this, but consider it a must read! Read Full Review
Invaders #8 keeps on surprising with a story that gives it an epic summer event feel while remaining self-contained and focused on its psychological examination of one of Marvels oldest characters: Namor the Submariner. While Carlos Magno does a competent job with illustrating the present day action, Butch Guices flashback scenes are beautiful and almost make me wish the entire comic was set in the 40s. Soon, Namor or the rest of the Invaders will sleep with the fishes. Read Full Review
The book might be entertaining, but it utilizes a few too many familiar tropes for its narrative. Read Full Review
This was a really great issue. This series deserves all the praise it gets and more.
Zdarsky has crafted such an interesting and he writes an intriguing Namor. Unfortunately Jim Hammond isn’t used to his full potential
Namor noooo.
This is great drama with some sweet art! Zdarsky knows how to real me in with his soap opera!!
The series great (overall) but the Torch under utilized. This issue is a perfect example of that. He "declares war" and is not seen again.
"Little by little … you're just letting yourself become … Tyler Durden. I mean, Tommy Machan, yeah, that's it."
