The entire run of The Magnificent Ms. Marvel was a wonderful time filled with laughs, tears, and everything in between. Its sad to see it end, but the creative team did a fantastic job of wrapping everything up in a way that felt natural and conclusive for this period of Kamalas life. Reading The Magnificent Ms. Marvel #18 felt like saying goodbye to a friend. Well, maybe its less of a goodbye and more of a see you later since Kamala will appear in Champions #5 along with some of her superpowered allies. And hopefully, shell be back starring in her own series sooner rather than later. Read Full Review

It's over, isn't it?
Saladin Ahmed ends his Ms. Marvel run the same way it lived. With a lot of heart, good art though rather by the numbers. This issue resolves many plot-threads letting Kamala end her solo-series in a good place.
The Magnificent Ms. Marvel might not have been as good as the original Ms.Marvel series but it its still a worthy follow up that respected Kamala and her friends and family while simultaneously developing them further.
Go read it. All of it.
" But that's when holding on the hope is most important. Hope that you can do better. That you can stop hating yourself. That you can remenber who your real ennemies are."

Of course Kamala's Homecoming dance can't just be a happy return to normalcy; she has to square off against her rebellious alien battlesuit one last time. This finale hits all the bases and earnestly digs into some nice feelings. It's well crafted. But it's an extremely safe "wave bye-bye as this character goes onto the comics limbo shelf" farewell. It's a good reward for faithful readers, but not a great comic on its own merits.
great comic book series, Ms marvel is the only consistent character besides Daredevil
This was a good issue. This series was overall pretty good, but I can't say I'll miss it.
Imagine choosing to wear such an ugly outfit to a school dance imagine hating yourself that much.
