Not even a crossover can grind Cody Ziglar and Frederico Vicentini to halt. Because the book is allowed to remain a smaller story with true weight for our characters and not a tie-in/variant farm,Miles Morales: Spider-Man #6works as both the next chapter in Miles' story and a story with the effort of an event. 'Miles Morales: Spider-Man' continues the title character's battle against the deadly symbiote Carnage, putting the young Spider-Man in a very precarious situation. This highly emotional, energetic, visually stunning series is exactly what many fans of Miles Morales have been asking for. A must-read for anyone that likes Miles, Spider-Man, and just great comic books. Read Full Review

I almost skipped this because it was a chapter in a crossover that doesn't interest me, but it's wonderfully self-contained and just as enjoyable as the first 5 issues

While I do agree with some other reviews, in that this slows down the pace a bit from what we we got in the Carnage Reigns: Alpha one-shot, I still very much liked this. I really enjoyed how Ziglar wrote Miles and Scorpion's interactions with one another here, particularly when they're underground. After the last page with Scorpion's story in the Alpha one-shot, I must say I was expecting a bigger reveal of Scorpion's teammates here, but I do like the team we got. Hightail has a cool design and I'm interested to see more of her.

This was a bit slower than the first part, but it was solid enough.

This was a solid issue. Really didn't give us much Carnage, but it was an entertaining read with some really unique art.

A slower, but enjoyable second part to this event.

It's a fun little chapter. It looks good, it sounds good. But it doesn't cover much ground. The plot develops a little and character relationships are explored a little, but this issue circles repeatedly instead of evolving.

Probably that's a constraint imposed by the event. If so, the creators have zeroed in on a good-not-great way to mark time.

Props to their recap at the start, though. It does a great job of bringing readers up to speed if they're only reading either MMSM or Carnage Reigns, but it's fast enough that it doesn't bore those of us reading both.

Long-term, I hope the creators aren't planning to do too much with these new Cape Killers. They're just Revenge of the Son of the Bride of Thunderbolt more
