Ewing lays out an excellent bit of character development to demonstrate Monica's current crisis of purpose, and the art is generally good. Kind of a slowburn. Nothing really stands out right now. My biggest fear is that it's going to rely a lot on guest appearances considering how many different heroes are in the 1st issue but we will see. I also find it funny that Monica and Blue Marvel broke up off panel after we saw them happily together in Thunderbolts. Comic romances am I right.

I was so looking forward to this book and there's literally nothing here. A little recap. A selfie, some time with her family annnddd that's it. I hate when writers start a run and don't even set up a story. I can't tell you what this series is going to be about. There's no villain, there's no conflict, no nothing. I hope this course corrects in the next issue or I'm out.
