This was a perfect celebratory issue for Ms. Marvel and despite having multiple writers and artists it never missed a beat. Lot of fun for longtime fans, a good entry point for new readers, and art was solid throughout. I highly recommend. Read Full Review

Ms. Marvel #31 is a lovely extra-sized issue starring one of Marvels best and brightest heroes. It made my jaded heart give a toss about a slumber party, and I think thats a feat unto itself. Mix that with some talented artists, and you have a book well worth recommending. Check it out. Read Full Review

This Ms. Marvel anniversary issue is a ton of fun, with some big, comic-altering changes that should be great going forward, and some small guest writing stints that are just kind of cute in the moment. Read Full Review
Issue #31 was smart, witty, and only slightly jarring in the transitions between artists and writers across the multiple sections, and that's nothing easy to pull off. Read Full Review
Best issue of the series so far
Ms. Marvel business, in the form of 3 guest-creator mini-stories, gets in the way of Kamala's big slumber party. I was unsure about an anthology for a milestone comic (This is the 50th regular issue of Ms. Marvel when you combine both volumes), but this works out great. Almost perfect, except for the seriously flawed final story with Miles. The other two are terrific, and the frame story, with its important and overdue and delightful secret-sharing, is a perfectly cromulent way to celebrate Big M's big milestone.
Such a satisfying ending, so glad Wilson didn’t make Nakia, Zoe, and Mike as stupid as they seemed before this issue. She finally acknowledges that Kamala’s mom knows her identity too
At first the story was good. I loved what wilson proposed. And I even enjoyed the Lockjaw part. But then more problems give Kamala a hard time on her sleepover. I didn't like the Pizza delivery part one bit, and I find it too long. I wanted kamala back with her friend. And then we have Miles ... I was like "Hell No" I jump all this part of the story until Kamala return. I see why she do all this. For that kamala speak about her duality identities. But for me that was not the best way to do it. The Sleepover could have been so better.
