Can Logan handle the truth of what he's done?

Declan Shalveys art is great. Even without the big action scenes of the previous issue, there are really dramatic visual moments in this issue. Read Full Review
It's been a competently executed but overly protracted story arc with very little advancement till this issue which feels like a bit of a let down after all the build-up to Wolverine's return from the dead. I am hoping the last issue will bring something to change my mind but I have a feeling... Read Full Review
Return Of Wolverine #4 is a comic that's far from bad, but struggles to be anything more that pretty good. At the end of the day, for the price of this comic, I expected more. Read Full Review
Overall my main problem with this series is that there were interesting themes and ideas present at the beginning of all this that everyone involved here has failed to capitalize on. Some average run of the mill art adds to the feeling that just nothing special is happening here, which is an absolute shame because Wolverine is one of my favorite characters ever, and I wanted to really like this. I was even warming up to the idea of ‘Hot Claws', but little to no explanation, or hints at the greater mystery at large mean we're in for whats likely another huge info dump finale, which just doesn't excite me. Return of Wolverine #4 is yet another lackluster issue of a series that should have been a much bigger deal and better executed. The villain and her organization is still pretty one dimensional and the reasoning behind Persephones motivations is interesting, but doesnt really explain anything about why shes really doing anything. Declan Shalveys art is a bad fit for the book in most panels. This series has been a minor disaster with pretty much every issue. Logan deserves better than this muddled, lackluster effort. This book is a mess, plain and simple. Read Full Review
I have an idea. When a writer submits the fourth of five scripts for "Return of Wolverine" and it calls for Wolverine to be pinned to a wall while the antagonist narrates his fights to him in the past tense, a good editor should arrange a face-to-face meeting so that she can physically pop the writer's knuckles with a ruler and say, "No!"
Bland. Average. Not teaseworthy.
I really tried but man is this a stinker. Soule didn't deliver his answers. Well he did but it was a failure at delivering them and just plain stupid. This whole thing wasn't well written, planned or delivered any positive direction for the character. Waste of money and time. Shalvey isn't the right artist for this book either.
Return of Wolverine is awful. We did get some answers to how Logan is Alice but it’s so not worth it and this series and issue in particular is so horrible. It amazes me that this is the best Soule could come up with to resurrect Logan
TBH all I can think about is where Daken is.
This was really bad. Soule really dropped the ball on this one, unfortunately.
