Declan Shalveys art is great. Even without the big action scenes of the previous issue, there are really dramatic visual moments in this issue. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Ross Hutchinson Jan 26, 2019

It's been a competently executed but overly protracted story arc with very little advancement till this issue which feels like a bit of a let down after all the build-up to Wolverine's return from the dead. Return Of Wolverine #4 is a comic that's far from bad, but struggles to be anything more that pretty good. At the end of the day, for the price of this comic, I expected more. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Branden Jan 19, 2019

Overall my main problem with this series is that there were interesting themes and ideas present at the beginning of all this that everyone involved here has failed to capitalize on. Some average run of the mill art adds to the feeling that just nothing special is happening here, which is an absolute shame because Wolverine is one of my favorite characters ever, and I wanted to really like this. You Don't Read Comics - David Harth Jan 16, 2019

Return of Wolverine #4 is yet another lackluster issue of a series that should have been a much bigger deal and better executed. The villain and her organization is still pretty one dimensional and the reasoning behind Persephones motivations is interesting, but doesnt really explain anything about why shes really doing anything. Declan Shalveys art is a bad fit for the book in most panels. This series has been a minor disaster with pretty much every issue. Logan deserves better than this muddled, lackluster effort.
