DOYLE DORMAMMU, HEAD OF THE CLASS?
• Anyone who has been to New Orleans knows that it's a magical place, but the students of STRANGE ACADEMY are about to see it firsthand.
• Their first field trip as a class shows them a city (and the stakes of what they're living) in ways that light a fuse that is going to blow up in a big way.

Light-hearted through and through, Young and Ramos tend to inject just the right amount of conflict and tension at no point go overboard " add to that, the fact this book's practically crafted its own universe within the larger Marvel world, the House of Ideas has something really special here with Strange Academy. When all is said and done, Strange Academy #3continues to deliver a fun story, while also building up its world in an often subtle way that doesnt bog done the here and now. I look forward to seeing whats in store next for these mages to be. Read Full Review
Strange Academy #3 extends the love-at-first-sight romance with its endearing magic students, pitting them against the perils and wonders of New Orleans. Glorious art and snappy dialogue put a real shine on a completely believable teen story. Skottie Young and Humberto Ramos, with their collaborators, are filling the "hero school" niche with vibrant, must-read energy. Read Full Review
Humberto Ramos strikes the right chord with the art in this issue. The characters look great and the supernatural elements are visually striking. A great looking book that captures the tone perfectly. Read Full Review

Strange Academy #3 is another home run for the series and team. This is just a fun series with some great characters showing so much potential. It's a series I look forward to with every release and a comic I can sit back and enjoy with a smile on my face. If you haven't been reading it, you've been missing out. Read Full Review
Strange Academy #3 is yet another example of how this is one of the best comic books Marvel is currently publishing. Skottie Young and Humberto Ramos complement each other's work to the point they enhance every scene because of that. This all helps make both the characters and world that is being built even more engaging. Read Full Review
Strange Academy #3 was a lot of things upon this book's return. Though this is an experience unlike any you're going to get from Marvel right now. Read Full Review
An otherwise enjoyable issue is hampered by too many main characters. The focus is spread too thin and nobody is getting enough attention to really make this comic stand out. Read Full Review
Strange Academy #3 doesn't do anything to shake things up, but it still manages to be a decent little adventure for a group of fun characters. Read Full Review
I am very pleased with Issue #3! Scottie Young, Humberto Ramos and the entire staff/editors did a fantastic job with it. Here is what I loved about the issue.
1. The Ancient One wearing a "Strange Academy" T Shirt? I WANT ONE! XXL! Maybe with a cover image from any of the three issues out.
2. Plot was Fantastic! Emily getting doused with rainbow fluid had me laughing for minutes. Was hoping Emily would have consented to the reading in the museum and it seems both Irik and Doyle are interested in her. Zoe likes Irik. I could make other plot observations. The bullies got just what they deserved without any real damage and Alvi is definitely jealous of Emily's abilities. Nice to hear Toth speaking for once. Could not Toth more
Absolutely in awe of Humberto Ramos' art.
Love seeing NOLA like this, although it's a very touristy side, but still all these characters are NEW to NOLA so it makes sense, I hope the setting continues to be taken advantaged of like this because it's such a great, underrated setting.
Character work continues to be amazing! Loving this title so far.
The Academy students get a lesson in the Eye of Agamotto before stirring up some trouble in the French Quarter. Nifty character interactions are still the prime draw, with incidental hints about future troubles adding long-term depth (Also, Emily is pulling ahead of the class as the magical heavyweight). The art's still insanely gorgeous and I'm still loving these kids.
This was a good time. I had fun. I like the characters.
Eh I just don’t feel strongly about any of them or any ships.
