Satisfying conclusion
A fine wrap up issue. Won't miss this series, but it had its moments.
The script is pretty good except for the parts that sound like homework from somebody's "Ethics for Time-Travelers 102" class.
Somebody give Teen Cable a copy of Days of Future past. Doing things in your own time to prevent an outcome someone from the future tells you about is NOT "changing time to suit {your} own needs." Rachel, you're standing right there, tell him! It's literally your reason for even existing as a character! So, no, Teen Cable and this whole interstitial Stryfe plot is all just one time travel knot too far.
RIP X-Force, I will not miss you.
Not even a fine writer like Ed Brisson was able to save this irrelevant story which was basically rendered irrelevant by the coming of Jonathan Hickman’s X Men.
The stakes of the story are minimal, the existence of Kid Cable is never fully justified dramatically. So suddenly everybody loves him even if he killed old Cable for not protecting the timeline?
And the worst thing, art is terrible. Do not waste your money.
