Its the penultimate issue of X-Force and I will be sad when its gone. Ed Brisson and Dylan Burnett set up their book for the finale and while the second to last issue of a series will never be a good jumping on point, readers who were there from the beginning should be fired up. I am still worried about Kid Cable, but the cliffhanger at least promises an explosive ending to the series. Read Full Review
X-Force #9 delivers as it not only has Domino and her team taking the fight to Stryfe but also Rachel stepping up in a major way. The end of the issue should have X-fans excited to see what comes next and where Brisson is taking his contribution to X-Men history. Read Full Review
This book is so much better than all the Age of X-men issues and I'm glad it was untouched by that madness. Much better for it. Burnett is well suited for this. Great look!
It's still cartoony and violent and fundamentally silly in its plotting, but the creators remembered to make it FUNNY, too, and that's the secret to getting me on board.
This issue is really muddled. I'd be more into it if I had liked the previous issues more.
Please we are so close.
