I think the problem with the book is it has too many characters and some of them feel underdeveloped or just kind of there. It is a similar problem I had with Steve Orlando's Justice League America, where it had a bunch of cool characters, but they didn't really have any chemistry on the same team.

Good issue, but some ideas / characterizations seem weird like why such a bad hairstyle for WW or I don’t really buy Ivy helping them. Or what’s the point of big baby GL? This issue is just kind of bad. The art is bad which actually makes Larroca's art look above average. The story is kind of boring and predictable. Hopefully it gets better next issue.

(SPOILER) There is this scene that didn't make much sense because why not show Logan the memory of Wolfbane getting killed like a bitch before entering the house before he kills everyone? Also why not just more

Kid Flash and Damian are the only teen titans related to DS, one of the two should kill slade so this way the act of killing would have some impact
or maybe even better, his son, Jericho or Rose

This issue sets up Year of the Villains& I’m looking forward to it. However I hope DC will do all the villains justice. That’s my biggest concern. This issue is mainly about both sides recruiting& thinking about, what will come. I question Perpetua‘s taste in the end, but well...
