Bendis and Tom King brought in to add superior quality to DC’s star staple characters, Batman and Superman has only made them some of the worst titles in the companies stable in the last decade. With Bendis’ issues (credit as superman has become a boring character in 2019 and most of the coolest concepts with this icon has already been told) being slightly better than the abysmal, overrated, p more

If only United Nations was what Jon claims it to be - a collective defending innocent people, fighting against violence, poverty, famine and oppression. Tell that to Iraqi, Palestinians or Syrians, all being actively ignored by the UN, whom at best wages their index finger at the US and Israel, teeling them it's not very nice to perform genocides and they should stop being naughy bullies.

It’s also pretty damned ridiculous how 1) civilizations at war stopped their conflict because a child called for a “time out”. 2) Ignored the reason they were fighting due to the same, as Jor-El was not apprehended. 3) Heroes from the future just showed up there to say “you did the thing, congratulations! Join us!”. On that last point, do they not know that just by virtue of going to the past they’ve changed it? Taking away the “architect” of this idea will only further change things.

I read this because I was told by my LCS that it's important to the Legion storyline coming up. There is a small tease towards it at the end, but nothing too insane. While I'm here though I'll get my thoughts about Bendis Superman. I've read the first couple issues of both Action Comics and Superman, and it has never captured my attention. Prelude:
Never really liked Bendis' cosmic Superman story. Let's see if this was worth the delay.

The Good:
Reis as always delivers on his art. But that's it.

The Bad:
Everything else. I'm just going to cut it short.

Conclusion:
While I originally liked this issue, further pondering has really diminished that opinion. There really was nothing of more

If anything is learned from this issue it’s that editorial do not even give the most minute iota of a crap about this title.

The bendis’ dialogue tends to be hit-or-miss, with an inordinately high chance of failing to find its target, but this was a whole new level of bad. Is he ok? Did he have a stroke? Someone should call someone.

That’s all there is to it, bad title more
