I disagree that no one considered it canon. In fact, Marvel went out of its way to reference Sins Past afterwards. In fact, when One More Day was being developed, JMS wanted to make the story non-canon, but Marvel insisted that it remain canon.

Uff! So long Wells, you will NOT be missed, I wished you could take Paul with you!! And this run is 10x worse than Nick Spencer's, at least Nick had the balls to put Pete and MJ together.

IT'S THE WEDDING OF THE YEAR!
Peter Parker is the best man, and Tombstone is walking the bride down the aisle! That's right - Janice Lincoln and Randy Robertson are tying the knot, and there's NO WAY all the crime bosses in NYC aren't seeing this as an opportunity to off Tombstone. This story sets up our big Spid...
Well, it's so bad that it's actually funny, never had any expectations whatsoever, dumb plot, moronic dialog, so i can see why the creative team went for it, i'd actually be surprised if a well developed issue came out of this trash, and they wonder why manga sells more than this pile of horse shit!
Peter's on the outs with the FF. He's on the outs with the Avengers. He's on the outs with Aunt May! No one wants to see Spider-Man - except for Doctor Octopus. Ock's on Spider-Man's tail and the Master Planner has something truly terrible planned for when he gets his tentacles on Spidey. All that, and what does Tombstone have planned? Just in time...

The art in this issue was a huge step up. I admit I'm bias as a massive spidey lore fan, but dang does Spencer know how to please fans like me. Spencer's bold kove to retcon the sins past story and connect it to Kindred seems abrupt at first but the more you think about it , the more it feels like natural plot than what actually happend in Sins Past.
I think the best part o more

Hahahaha Let me tell you something friend, it's not up to you or fans to decide what's canon and what is not,for example you can go ahead and not consider secret war canon bcs u didn't like it and it was poorly done and no one mentioned in the upcoming comics, it would still be canonical, either you don't understand the concept of Canon, or you were those fans who were in completely denial
I didn't think this day would ever come... SINS PAST IS OVER. GONE. ADIOS. Nick Spencer destroyed one of the most disgusting things ever written with ONE SINGLE ISSUE. Not only that, his retcon makes even more sense than that garbage original one (ok, not everything works but... yeah). The twins are now interesting characters without that shadow of Gwen's infidelity (Spencer even takes a shot at Jmore

This is confusing because so much to grasp. It was good that I made a chart for Spencer run because during last remain I understood that it is going to be confusing which it did. So making a chart helped me to enjoy the issue much better and not been confused while first time reading.
Sins Past gone. It's victory.
If he retcons OMD too, then he is going to hailed for writing Spidey more

Yes, but the huge disadvantage Reddit has is the upvote/downvote system. Something other platforms don't have. Say some unpopular stuff and you're going to the bottom of the page and that's kind of it. It doesn't really encourages diversity of opinion, it encourages echo-chambers.
The dark knight detective can u please give me the reddit link where everyone is complaining about this issue?
At its core, this issue is retconning away the worst of Sins Past and all the related storylines. That's great. I'm very glad about that. I really don't know what to expect from the final issue of this run. The two week wait will be hard, assuming the spoilers don't come out ahead of time. I'm kind of dreading explaining this issue to my friends when they read it and only get like half of it. So..more

Well, Kindred does say "this final form" in reference to the different incarnations of Sarah and Gabriel, as in the body he's possessed in the moment, which is Sarah's.
I actually think there are two Kindreds. Unless the stuff with Spider-Man is happening at a different time. If it's not, Kindred has possessed both Sarah and Gabriel.
This gets an automatic pass for retconning past sins. I enjoy the heavy attention to continuity. Not enough writers write as though they've not even read a Wikipedia article on the character (I'm referring to you Loeb and Bendis). I like Spencer is trying to weave everything together. The problem, and why I just can't rate it any higher, was that even for someone like myself, who has read all of tmore

Completely agree, people seem to just love this because it is a retcon that everyone wanted. The writing here is so bad, and the journey to get here has been so tiresome
