Had to write a review because the critic reviews are too low on this in my opinion.

Heroes In Crisis succeeded in humanizing Wally West and showing how massive emotional trauma can affect someone with massive power. And how that might not turn out so good to those closest to him, literally. Unfortunately, due to the lack of focus on Wally West post DC Rebirth, fans weren’t ready to se more

Flash Forward #1

I read Flash War and it honestly made no sense. Barry said he was going to help Wally find his family and then sent him away and never helped. HiC was still shit. There’s just no getting around that. Being broken isn’t an excuse for what King made him do.

Fastest Archer Alive - Sep 20, 2019

Well, you’re not SUPPOSED to like what he did. But given that he was shell shocked and the story was showing how superheroes can have mental damage and stuff, you can’t say it didn’t make sense. So there’s that. Also, Barry doesn’t know HOW to help Wally. That’s why Wally was frustrated. He blamed Barry and Barry couldn’t come up with a solution so he tried to repeat Barry’s mistake. This is all in the comics if you read them.

• Fresh Start literally anyone can pick this up.
• The art is top notch.
• Hickman’s one page interludes give you insight as to what new elements he’s adding to the X-Men mythos.
• The voices for each character feels genuine and real.
• Pacing is excellent as well, I was able to take my time with the book and it felt fast despite being a larger book.
