Lee reads a story. This series still doesn't have a character or storyline that drives the plot. The 2 main cover characters are still a complete mystery. I will not be reading this going forward. I've found nothing enjoyable in this except the plot. |

DC needs to stop double-shipping for the sake of quality and delivering a sense of commitment to readers. This particular issue suffers from a recurring problem throughout Tynion's time on the title- A lot of hype with minimal substance and logic behind it. |

Personally speaking, I expect more from DC's premier title. It's better than issues #50-#85, which were dreadful but the story is mediocre in nearly every way possible. I had a lingering feeling before "Joker War" that it wouldn't come close to Snyder's stuff, and this is proving me right every step of the way. It also feels like Batman isn't the main character in his own book. Only reason this isn't getting a 4 is because of the art, which is fantastic as usual from Jimenez. |

WHY is Harley Quinn still getting featured on this book? Seriously, she was pretty much the main character of Joker War and she's still on this Only redeeming thing about this book is the art, which remains as fantastic as ever with Jimenez. The writing is strictly sub-par and should not be the norm for DC's premiere title. Please get Zdarsky or someone of that calibre to write Batman, Tynion clearly isn't cutout for it and introducing tons of OC's every arc isn't gonna make readers anymore interested. |

From what we've heard so far, Superman is going to be focused predominantly on Jon while Action Comics will feature Clark In any case, this was an average issue |

Great book. Crowdfunded comics is the way forward, Marvel / DC's editorial meddling restrain writers way too much |

Fun fact: Frank Miller told King a story from his youth - he was invited to a real life seance conducted by Otto Binder (comic pro) for his deceased daughter. The encounter had a long-lasting impression on Frank and his story forms the basis of this book. Coming to this issue, it's gonna get people talking that's for sure - but I liked it. |
