When it rains it pours! Jackson Hyde’s no stranger to dark family secrets, but the one he just uncovered is so big it might just blow his whole life to smithereens. With the Atlantean guard closing in, who can Jackson trust when even the closest people in his life have been lying to his face? Passing the halfway point, Aquaman: The Becoming loses no steam as the series continues to flesh out Jackson Hyde's world while taking the character on an emotional roller coaster ride. It's a situation that's more nuanced than what's right and what's wrong, but with Aqualad's hero status, his moral compass sits far and away from most nuances. With his past unraveling in front of his eyes, it's going to be interesting to see how he navigates this. Read Full Review
Writer Brandon Thomas pulls off a tremendous feat with Aquaman: The Becoming #4, making an issue light on action and heavy on character background and an extensive dialogue exchange compelling and fun to read. Read Full Review

Wow, what a bore, I guess three decent issues was the best Brandon Thomas could do, this was awful and I feel like we're only going downhill from here.
