DC K.O. #4  is the perfect penultimate issue as DCU & Absolute universes collide, leaving one of the final four in contention for the Heart Of Apokolips as Scott Snyder & Josh Williamson continue to roll the dice and throw haymakers, that land a solid K..O. punch... Read Full Review

DC K.O. #4 is the perfect penultimate issue as we near the end of the tournament. There is an insanely amazing amount of detail in the artwork, with twists and turns throughout every single page. DC K.O. #4 delivers spectacle, emotional weight and forward momentum. It sets the stage for a finale that feels earned, not rushed. Even if your bracket didn’t survive the chaos (mine certainly didn’t), this chapter proves why DC K.O. has been one of the most entertaining DC events in recent memory. Read Full Review

If you thought the first few chapters of the event were high energy, then wait until you see this. DC K.O. is substantially bigger than expected, and there’s no way the internet isn’t jumping up and down when this book hits the stands. Read Full Review

The smoke has clearer. One remains standing in a thrilling bout of will and sacrifice. Snyder and Williamson’s writing brings out the desperation and struggles of hope. The art team doesn’t back down on leaving all the action on the pages. The champion has been crowned. How long can they reign? Read Full Review

This will likely be the creative team for a Legion relaunch in the aftermath, and they couldn’t ask for a better one – this story has a fantastic scene focusing on Saturn Girl as she realizes exactly what Darkseid’s true plan is and how it will genuinely break the entire universe. There are some amazing visuals here, and we’re starting to see the first hints of how the Legion will be restored to who they’re supposed to be. Read Full Review

DC K.O. #4 does its job at delivering an effective penultimate chapter. The first clash between the DC Universe and Absolute Universe not only carries but delivers on the potential of this happening. It all drove home the importance of the King Omega Tournament and why Darkseid is the endgame level threat of the multiverse. The ending hooks you to want to find out what will happen by the end of this event. Read Full Review

DC K.O. #4 is the kind of penultimate chapter that absolutely delivers on spectacle and character beats, then quietly trips over its own tournament rulebook. If you are investing in this for big Superman pain tolerance moments, a ruthless Lex payoff, and punchy, visually legible brawls against Darkseid-laced doppelgangers, you get enough on the page to justify the time and cash it asks for. If you need the bracket to function like a real competition with consistent rules and transparent scoring, the winner will probably feel like the writers skipped the last few steps on the scorecard. And somehow it really feels like this whole thing is going to come and go off the comics rack without making a huge impact. Really more of a strange footnote to the trivia of this particular decade in DC comics. There are a few things that change a little bit with respect to the central One of I can’t do it. But it lacks a whole lot of substance beyond the surface level conflict. He’s not really reaching anything new in any kind of a terribly profound way. Read Full Review

As we head into the final round of the DC K.O. event, I’ll be glad when it’s all over. If you like wrestling, you’ll like this. I don’t, and I’ve seen one too many hero versus hero battles where they all end up on the same side to feel anything anymore when it predictably ends up happening in this penultimate issue. This was mostly understandable. I love seeing Main DC universe interact with Absolute Universe, and while the ending of Saturn Girl was a bit confusing, it was still very entertaining. The art and coloring were also solid

Wow, DC K.O. #4 delivers! The battle with the Absolute characters was epic, exactly what I wanted and Superman of the regular DC Universe proved why he is the greatest of all time … hands down the BEST superhero in any pantheon. For the first 3/4 this was all combat, all action, then there was a surprise twist … that stopped EVERYTHING. The story delivered … however the epilogue was a bit confusing. I guess there is a dark Legion of Superheroes (or Absolute version) and they had a hand in laying down the groundwork for all that happened in this issue. Plus (no spoilers) they dropped in hints about another character who will most like be the ex machina saving grace of the final issue. So over 3/4 of the issue was spun gold … but the last sec more

DC K.O promised a giant battle of cool fights. The main title K.O book has largely delivered. It has been the most consistent and enjoyable while almost all of the spin off books are a mess or mid with 1-2 exceptions. K.O #4 starts out with how Boss battle should have, a battle with the Absolute Universe. We were never going to get ate because DC has comics to sell. However, that would have left way more time to actually flesh this story out way more so it didn't feel so insanely rushed. We get 35 pages of a story this is barely able to contain what's happening. Key moments that should be impactful are pushed past completely with another panel that overshadows it. Scott has the habit of going too huge and grand in his storytelling like more

Though the art is good, I'm just not vibing with this event. There's no story. It's just a series of battles. Here we get the absolute characters, and they do absolutely (pun intended) nothing with them. There's no development whatsoever. Why get the Saturn Girl ending, and they reveal the identity of the character Darkeid is controlling, which is the same character that was revealed as a villain backing the 90s. Nothing special here. Looking forward to this concluding. My Review Channel - https://youtu.be/6fuJHwqbeJE

the whole selling point of KO from the beginning was seeing heroes v heroes but now they're just repackaging fights that we've had with a slightly different spin. wow batman v superman? yeah we've seen it a million times before. But what if one of them is evil hmmm But also a super lameass joker is there for some reason lol
