To solve the attempted murder, the detective on the scene must first solve an actual murder. Before Rorschach and Laura can carry out their ill-fated plan to kill a presidential candidate, they first have to find a way into his political rally. Once that detail is uncovered, the rest should snap into place- especially if it turns out that their inside man was part of the rival campaign. The only problem is that man is dead, potentially killed by the very people he was trying to help, and as everyone knows, dead men tell no tales. Thank goodness, then, that crime scenes do! There’s only one more issue to go after this. Don’t miss out on onmore
King has brought all the threads together in Rorschach #11, and the detective has solved the mystery. But he has been fundamentally changed by that mystery. This series has been an amazing ride. Now it only remains for King to bring his series to a satisfying conclusion in the final issue. Read Full Review
Again, the story is definitely King's best writing work to date. The artwork by Jorge Fornes is undeniably great too. Each image in this book is powerful and Fornes is one of the best artists in the field. This is a well made book and I can't wait to see how it all ends. Read Full Review
Rorschach #11 is yet another excellent issue of this book. King, Fornes, and Stewart are doing fantastic work in this comic, working together perfectly to tell the story. With one more issue to go, itll be great to see how it all ends but sad that its over. Read Full Review
It's been a long road to the final page of this issue, and with only one issue to go it feels like there's still a lot of story waiting for us. I'm guessing the ultimate conclusion will be a brutal and shocking finale, and I can't wait. Read Full Review
DC Comics' RORSCHACH has always been about the power of stories. And what better way to show that than to see our protagonist get lost in one? This creative team is doing beautiful, complicated, thought-provoking work. This issue gives us good reason to expect an explosive, wonderful finale. Read Full Review
Rorschach #11 is a great issue that walks a fine line between adding to the mystery and making you feel like you're following a crazy man. The issue will raise lots of questions, which is fun since this is a mystery. The art team gets some great opportunities to allow the dead to come back and present their side, so now it is up to you to decide before all is revealed (hopefully). Read Full Review
The success of this issue depends on whats likely to be a very divisive storytelling approach. This series has felt like its overstayed its welcome a few months ago and this issue did little to justify its length or set up for an interesting finale. Read Full Review
Although I'm still not particularly impressed with this comic, this issue feels the most "Tom King" it's been from the start and sets up what should hopefully be an interesting conclusion. Read Full Review
Tom King had a really good idea for a plot twist but it's not done well at all, and I really wish it was because I've actually enjoyed the series overall. Read Full Review
A perfect issue in a perfect series.
Basically the best serie in DC right now (warning: to understand this issue you have to re-read the previous). Amazing.
I really enjoyed this one, even if I think we can all say it was tad predictable. How we got there wasn't though. And as someone pointed out, the Biden Derangement Syndrome is real.
Fornes is one of my favorite artists currently working. So many great pages and panels. Stewart's colors perfectly add to the art as well. Muted yellows and greens dominate the issue with bright reds thrown in as punctuation on key moments. I love the way King weaves a conversation between the Detective, Laura, and Wil. The "conspiracy" uncovered in the book and the way it's all been carefully laid out for the detective to put together has been wonderfully done as well. This is some of King's better work and I'm excited for the ending.
LMAO the Biden Derangement Syndrome is real
The plot twist of #11 rightafter the mindblowing itchscratching issue #10 was welcomed. The art continues to be wonderfully noir and misterious while giving us that lovely tension. I adored the descend to madness of our protagonist, and I think it fits in the story quite well. It's Rorschach I mean...
A pretty nice display of characters speaking to one another in presentation through the power of comic books. It's like talking to people across time with different panels and perspectives. As well as how the idea of Rorschach spreads to people. People who are alone with their thoughts and can't find the support to keep going turn into a fantasy to feel less powerless. Truly the power of comics in a nutshell.
A rather predictable plot twist where the detective become Rorschach. Hopefully the ending is much better.
I should've seen this coming given that Turley is basically Trump in this book, King has been campaigning online for Biden last year and the book was written much earlier, meaning during the campaign, the pandemic ruined the timing of it. At first I thought Alan was working on killing Turley but no, King doesn't look for subtlety in his books. I liked some stuff here but unfortunately most of the dialogue was very pseudo-philosophical and quite wacko at times and it seems to me like King is trying to legitimize extremism with this book (though it depends on how he'll end the book). Another stuff I hated is how things that were revealed in past issues here are just dismissed very easily and that just makes me think that King totally disrespemore
