There's a dark sense of humor and fatalism to much of the issue, but it all comes together into a surprisingly powerful emotional catharsis. There's a reason Lemire is considered one of the all-time greats, and I'm a little sad this might be his DC swan song. Read Full Review

Given that fans had to wait an extended period of time between issues 1 and 2 of this series, the conclusion might not have paid off for the delay, but Swamp Thing: Green Hell will mark a thrilling and disturbing collection in Swamp Thing's lexicon to add to your library. Read Full Review

The perfect cherry on top of Lemire's Animal Man and Snyder/Soule's Swamp Thing.
This was a pretty good ending to a pretty good series. I personally thought it peaked with the first issue, but that's in large part due to the significant dip in the quality of the art in issues 2 and 3. I felt like this series would've maybe benefited from one extra issue so that Lemire could flesh things out a little more, but we got what we got, and for what it was, I'm glad I read it.

Lemire wrote a good Constantine. Good for him! I really don't remember what I disliked about issue one, but issues two and three have been good. I'll probably pick up the trade.
